Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Gfcorbett.   Please don't send me e-mail anymore unless you have something to say that is private and you don't wish disclosed on Wikipedia. I don't see any evidence of your "disclosing" who you are, as you stated in your e-mail. A proper disclosure of your interest in the Corbett article should be made, at a minimum, on your userpage.   I told you not to send me e-mail. Surely you know how to edit this page (you know how to remove warnings from this page as you've been doing so for a long time). You edited your daughter's Talk page (that's where you disclosed who you are). There's very little difference. I'm not interested in the substance of what you want in your daughter's article. You must follow the instructions in the COI notice I left for you on this page, which includes making a declaration on your userpage. It doesn't matter that you are not being paid to promote your daughter; the COI is obvious. Once you've done that, if you want to make changes to the article, you must propose them on the article Talk page (not here). If an editor thinks they are appropriate they will make them.
