I assed on Kenny Saif wikipedia page that is an Israeli-American ( which wasn’t mentioned) and that is born in the United states to Israeli parents, may I ask why this edit was not accepted? Ghazal mizo (talk) 15:06, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

When footballers have dual nationality, their nationality is not usually is not mentioned in the introduction (see e.g. Owen Hargreaves). It already stated in the article that he was born to (Druze)-Israeli parents. Number 57 15:11, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You claim the nationality of footballers is “not usually mentioned in the introduction” but at the same time the religion of football players is not mentioned in the introduction ( but for some reason the religion of Kenny parens is mentioned in the introduction and it’s written that he is of “Druze descent”. Is mentioning the religion of Kenny parents more important than mentioning that he is an Israeli-American? It’s also NOT mentioned in the introduction that he is born to Israeli parents. So I think this should be added because it’s piece of information that the reader needs to know. Ghazal mizo (talk) 15:30, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Druze bit is mentioned as his ethnicity (rather than religion) as it's standard for the ethnicity of non-Jewish Israelis to be mentioned prominently in their biographies. I don't see why it would be necessary to mention the nationality of his parents in the introduction? Number 57 15:37, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
