If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Shah Ismail Ghazi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://en.banglapedia.org/index.php?title=Shah_Ismail_Ghazi_(R). For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello Ghoraghatalpha. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Ghoraghatalpha. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Ghoraghatalpha|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS💬 10:48, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have not done any paid editing yet but I must clarify that I want to work as a paid editor. Since I don't have any client/employer yet but I want to work on Fiverr etc., should I write Fiverr as a client/employer name? Now on these pages. Draft:Sabrina Vourvoulias: I was trying to take this article into mainspace voluntarily to practice editing. Shah Ismail Ghazi: This is the first page I have ever created. Shah Ismail Ghazi's shrine is near my village. I googled him and found a lot of resources there. So I created this. Flora Sheffield: While reading about East Lynne movie on Wikipedia I found the actress's name in RED so I clicked on it and the page creation option appeared and I collected references from google and created it. Draft:Filip Doušek: The following day after creating Flora Sheffield I wanted to create the page for the author of Flock Without Birds. I found his page was in Cestina and then I translated this into English. BUT I MUST CLARIFY YOU THAT I CREATE PAGE VOLUNTARILY TO HONE MY SKILLS TO BECOME A PAID EDITOR I WILL OBEY ALL THE RULES OF WIKIPEDIA. PLEASE UNBLOCK ME. Ghoraghatalpha (talk) 19:34, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

We aren't interested in having you work as a paid editor. Yamla (talk) 12:24, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Original heading: "Paid editor" ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:46, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure how others feel about it, but this is a community building an encyclopedia. I for one take a dim view of people making money off of editing Wikipedia. This may or may not be a view held by the community in general. I will leave the unblock request for someone more open-minded than I. --Deep fried okra User talk:Deepfriedokra 22:20, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On the other hand, your quality of writing might be good enough that you will be an asset. So long as you read and heed WP:PAID and WP:COI for each client, you should be fine. Will ask Yunshui for comment. --Deep fried okra User talk:Deepfriedokra 22:23, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The idea that someone would decide to create Draft:Filip Doušek entirely off their own initiative at exactly the same time as the draft's subject hired someone via Upwork to create a page about him on en-wiki is really stretching credulity to its limits... Yunshui  22:31, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Speechless. --Deep fried okra User talk:Deepfriedokra 22:34, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Is disassembly afoot? Some sort of perspective arrangement would still be PAID editing. COncealing it makes it UPE --Deep fried okra User talk:Deepfriedokra 22:41, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ghoraghatalpha, Yunshui's message above seems to imply that you have already expected payment for the creation of Draft:Filip Doušek. However, per WP:PAID, you must disclose such expectations. Please take a moment to address the concerns voiced by Yunshui and Deepfriedokra. You can simply reply below this message. Thank you very much in advance. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:49, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I want to apologize that I saw the job on Upwork but I didn't apply for it on Upwork. I was just trying. I have understood what I am blocked for and I promise I will never do such stupid things again. Ghoraghatalpha (talk) 08:01, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There's no need to put each reply in a new unblock request. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:55, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You decided that you wanted to do paid editing on Wikipedia, so you went to Upwork to look for Wikipedia editing jobs, and then when you found one, rather than accept it, you decided to just create the article for nothing instead? Pull the other one, it's got bells on. Talkpage access revoked to prevent you from wasting more time with this sort of nonsense. Yunshui  12:33, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
