Request reason:

Corrrecting the nationality of major figures

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 18:28, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

There is no such nationality as a "European-American," any more than there is an "Asian-American" or "African-American" nationality. If you do this again, the block may be permanent. Acroterion (talk) 18:35, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If I'd seen these edits first it would have been permanent. Doug Weller talk 19:24, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

COI / photo issue[edit]

Your particular focus on Jerome Foster II and Elijah Mckenzie-Jackson practically requires me to ask if you have some sort of personal connection with them? If so, you must declare this. Additionally, the photo you uploaded of Elijah appears to be a crop of a recent social media post by him. You need explicit permission to use such a photo in the article. Do you have that? --Pokelova (talk) 02:38, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. I contacted him via email and he has given permission. I do not know them however I have a particular focus on the youth climate movement. Gildsons (talk) 02:42, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You need to declare your conflict of interest as required by WP:COI and you should immediately stop directly editing either article. After you have declared your conflict, you are free to suggest changes on the article's talk page. --Yamla (talk) 15:58, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am listed this connection on the talk pages of both articles. cookie monster 755 19:54, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

March 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! BriefEdits (talk) 23:34, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
