Welcome back

Hello G. I am glad to see your name on my watchlist again! Whether you will be editing regularly or for a brief bit of time (see I found a way to get the Doctor into this message) your contributions are an asset to WikiP. Cheers. MarnetteD|Talk 23:09, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

Welcome back! I was just thinking a few months back that I hadn't seen you in a while (and even stalked your contributions to check!). I'm so glad you've returned. :) Let me know if you'd like to collaborate on anything! (Maybe some Fringe S4 episodes once you get there, or some Doctor Who?) Ruby 2010/2013 01:45, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

I'm just going to reply here since I believe you both watch my page. Hello! (The following is going to be a lot of rambling.) I think I'm going to stick around for the summer at the very least. I've got a few other writing projects going on, but I'm glad the more recent Doctor Who episodes have been maintained because they were really stressful to work on during the times of most heavy editing! As for production information on those, I think the official YouTube channels and websites have released mini-behind-the-scenes videos since Confidential was canceled, so that could be helpful and not too much of a time commitment. I would like to work on some of the older ones (particularly with reception as The A.V. Club finished its reviews of the older ones and it does have some classics as well) because they are a bit more condense and not as in the spotlight; part of my frustration with the newer articles, in addition to the heavy editing from others shortly after transmission, was that every article I found had hurtful comments (yeah, I know, "don't read the comments") toward the actors, etc, and that negativity wasn't enjoyable. I don't believe those websites are going to lose a lot of their articles soon though, so I will probably be able to find them down the road when I feel like tackling those. As for resources, it appears those Confidential episodes I found on YouTube had been taken down (as they should be, frankly), but I do have some notes as well as:
  • DVD commentaries from the Series 1 DVDs (as well as Series 5, 6, and 7). I believe "The End of the World" was going to be my next project.
  • All the special features that come with DVDs of Remembrance of the Daleks, The Romans, Earthshock, Terror of the Autons. I started working on the first one but didn't make it through the whole infotext I think? There is so much. But it does seem in pretty good shape, except for that pesky home releases section...
  • Several issues of Doctor Who Magazine from 2013, including the big 50th anniversary one, the Christmas special, and the most recent episode polls. They also each have the "Fact of Fiction" articles with a ridiculous amount on a Classic Who story.

Regardless, I think there's some I can do if I allocate a healthy amount of time! It's easy to get overwhelmed but if I go in with some material instead of just scrolling through the pages looking at all I should do, it shouldn't be as bad. I'll be happy to collaborate with anyone. Just give me a month maybe and I might actually get up to that point in Fringe! Glimmer721 talk 16:20, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

Sounds good! I'm actually about a season behind in Doctor Who (but plan to catch up soon!). Ruby 2010/2013 03:03, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
This and this could be useful for Fringe (but I'm avoiding spoilers as best as I can). I noticed S4 appeared a lot on the Den of Geek list. Glimmer721 talk 18:40, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
Another welcome back! I was a little shocked to discover you semi-retired not to long ago :) Sadads (talk) 00:07, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
