License tagging for Image:EXCEL MSO-439 sweeping Oak Harbor WA.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:EXCEL MSO-439 sweeping Oak Harbor WA.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:07, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Bellingham Bay and British Columbia Railroad[edit]

Thank you for starting Bellingham Bay and British Columbia Railroad. I added some references so that other editors could see that the subject is notable. I also fixed the capitalization of the last word (you had left railroad in lower case).

On a related topic, you may want to talk a look at Category:Defunct Washington (U.S. state) railroads and see whether you can improve any of those articles. - Eastmain (talk) 21:54, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bellingham and Eastern Railroad has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable railroad passage

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have nominated the article for speedy deletion due to copyright violation concerns. If you wish to contest the deletion, please do so by leaving a message at the article's talk page. wctaiwan (talk) 15:46, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I removed your recent addition as it was uncited, and was placed within a section of several sentences which are cited at the end. Your addition is a little out-of-place, and appeared to be cited by the footnote appearing thereafter. If put back in the article you should find another place, and add a cite, as this is a Featured Article. Regards, Kablammo (talk) 14:25, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Glocke380. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Whatcom Creek".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Whatcom Creek}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 12:33, 24 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
