This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. You say you are not writing about yourself, but you don't seem to be writing about this person at random. Do you have a connection to this person? Articles should not read like a resume or CV detailing a person's accomplishments. An article about a person must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the person, showing how they meet Wikipedia's special definition of a notable person or more specifically that of a notable academic. I urge you to slow down and take some time to use the new user tutorial to learn more about Wikipedia, and to edit some existing articles first, to gain experience. 331dot (talk) 13:40, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
