GeekGirlCon moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, GeekGirlCon, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. You're doing fine[edit]

Hi, Gnat8, and please also accept my belated welcome. We met at Talk:Lines of amity, and I just wanted to say that I think you're doing a good job, and I know that you are here for the right reasons. Whether we agree or disagree about some minor question of content is irrelevant; that is bound to happen from time to time with any editor, but it's clear that your goal is to improve the article, and that is what counts. I know there are a ton of rules and regulations around here, and it takes time to get on board with stuff; I've been here forever, and I'm still learning. So, go ahead and keep doing what you're doing; I can see from your responses that you are a good candidate to turn into a really good editor. Don't be afraid to ask questions of any trusted editor, and you can also ask at the WP:Tea house or the Wikipedia:Help desk. There's also the handy {{Help me}} template, where you can ask a question right here on your own talk page, and an experienced editor will swing by and answer here; that's very handy, because you can more easily refer back and find your Q&A again later, which is harder to do for archived discussions on other pages. Once again, welcome, and keep up the good work! Mathglot (talk) 03:41, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
