Hi, Lamb99

I was just wondering how it is possible to do a link on an article to another page from Wikipedia. Currently, I use the two brackets on each side ([[_]]), but it seems like you use a different method. Please respond soon.

-Goat999

Hello, Goat999! I have recently joined Wikipedia and am still getting used to the format, but I would be glad to help! Let's see, how to link pages...well, what I usually do is enter [[Target page|text to be displayed]] to get text to be displayed. For more information about links, please visit this. Bye!--Lamb99 (talk) 01:46, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. Please sign your posts on talk pages using the four tildes: ~~~~

Lamb99,

How are you able to get twinkle? I have heard of the software (from you) and was wondering about the details and about how one can get it. Goat999 (talk) 22:16, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would be glad to help you out! Now, please follow these steps carefully...
  1. First, click on "My preferences" in the upper right hand corner.
  2. Next, click on "Gadgets" on the top. It should be the last tab there.
  3. Now, check "Twinkle".
  4. (If you do not want to use any of the other gadgets available, skip this step and click on "Save" at the bottom. Then, you should be done.)Browse the other gadgets available and choose which ones you want to use. Then, click on "Save" at the bottom. That's all there is to it! If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask. Have fun!--Lamb99 (talk) 22:33, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What does Twinkle do? It says that it is for Opera, Firefox, and another browser, but not for Google Chrome, my browser. Goat999 (talk) 22:46, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It helps remove vandalism. See WP:VAND and WP:TWINKLE. Samwb123T (R)-C-E 23:17, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, with Friendly, how do you put a welcome template on new users? Goat999 (talk) 20:00, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the top right hand corner of this screen. You can see Read, Edit, History, a star, and then an arrow. Put your cursor over that arrow. You will see a selection of options. You want to select the one that says "Wel". This will give you an assortment of welcome templates to choose from.
Also, please refrain from editing my user page with additional info without contacting me first. Thanks. Lamb99 (talk) 01:38, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey[edit]

Just wondering... do you also operate User:Lamb99? It is against WP:SOCK to use two accounts. The two user pages look similar; just wondering. Samwb123T (R)-C-E 23:22, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Just wondering. Thanks! Samwb123T (R)-C-E 17:07, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, how are you?

Spottedtail (talk) 14:37, 2 April 2010 (UTC) Spottedtail[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Luis Oida for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. wiooiw (talk) 20:22, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Checkuser confirms you are not related to the main case or to Lamb99. Like I said, the sockpuppets kinda pulled you into the case. wiooiw (talk) 19:04, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
