`==Speedy deletion nomination of Island Ink-Jet==

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Island Ink-Jet, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may place {{unblock}} on your user talk page to have the block reviewed. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia.

Request reason:

I belive my account was unfairly blocked by an administrator OhNoitsJamie Talk. I had been engaged in a content dispute with the admin over content I had written as an expert from within the industry for a number of related pages which is where my interest and expertise lies. I was blocked in middle of disputing the content on the Administrator's talk page which I believe is against Wikipedia's policy. I was not harming Wikipedia in any way and was blocked for what I believe was punishment for disputing the removal of my content by the admin.

I do recognize that as a new editor I had originally updated pages with improper etiquette however as I learned more regarding Wikipedia's policies I was well aware of a possible COI so I ensured that I wrote from a neutral position as an expert on the subject and the admin simply deletes my comments regardless of content and continues to refer to it as spam when it clearly is factual and relevant information for a reputable and noteworthy source.

This account is not a spammer account and my understanding of Wikipedia suggests that all editors should focus on the content rather which is clearly not the case from what I see.

The issue has escalated in the past few days as I attempted to update outdated information with neutral non-promotional, non spam information on the Wikipedia:Ink Cartridge page. The same admin again deleted my comment and has not gone so far as to recommend a completely separate page Island Ink-Jet for deletion as retaliation for my attempting to provide better information on Ink Cartridges. This is clearly another example of retaliating and punishing me which is against Wikipedia policies.

I posted on his talk page requesting reasons for the most recent deletion and no explanation was presented suggesting that dealt with the actual content which is against Wikipedia policies. Instead he cited my account as that of a constant spammer (which I deny and state that his perception of spam is due to his lack of knowledge on the subject matter). In fact he has actually deleted my comment from his talk page just goes to show he is not willing to discuss content and is only interested in applying penalties to writers: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AOhnoitsjamie&diff=499294922&oldid=499287314

I'm at a loss as to what to do. It appears this admin is focused on punishing people rather than striving for better content. Wikipedia is built upon the principle of collaboration and assuming that the efforts of others are in good faith. Wikipedia's guidelines go so far as to state "When you find a passage in an article that you find is biased or inaccurate, improve it if you can. If that is not easily possible, and you disagree with a point of view expressed in an article, don't just delete it. Rather, balance it with what you think is neutral." (does this policy not apply to OhNoitsJamie Talk as well?). Please help!

Decline reason:

I see very little in your edits other than promoting one company, Island Ink-Jet. This is what we call spamming here, and we don't allow that. By the way, take a look at WP:NOTTHEM as well if you wish to request unblock again. --jpgordon::==( o ) 19:54, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
