March 2013[edit]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Grand Duchy of Flandrensis. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. - MrX 16:41, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Union of South London Soviet Socialist Republics. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Speedy deletion declined: Austenasia[edit]

Hello Gon266. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Austenasia, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: this was kept at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Austenasia (3rd nomination). Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 07:59, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do not repeat a speedy deletion nomination whichnhas been declined by an administrator. Also, read WP:POINT. JohnCD (talk) 08:16, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Republic of Arizona requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Inappropriate content on your user page[edit]

Hi Gon266, I noticed that you had some inappropriate content on your user page - specifically, a claim to be a Wikipedia administrator, and a claim that another user's committed identity was yours - so I removed that, with these edits. It seems as if you were experimenting and copying someone else's user page; experiments are allowed, but making misleading claims about administratorship and identity is not allowed, which is why I removed those claims. Please see this page for more information about your user page. I'd also like to point out that Your sandbox is a better place to experiment with editing than your user page. Thanks! --bonadea contributions talk 10:14, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Gon266, and thank you for your contributions!

I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, Grand Duchy of Antarctica, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Grand Duchy of Flandrensis. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:

  1. a link to the article you copied from
  2. the date you copied it

You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.

If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.

Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 10:44, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted this as a blatant hoax. You just copied Grand Duchy of Flandrensis and changed the names, so the references did not apply. JohnCD (talk) 11:23, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

Stop trying to disrupt Wikipedia to make a point. The reason your micronation articles were deleted was that they showed no indication of why your made-up micronations were significant or important, or of interest to anyone but yourself. Wikipedia is not for things made up one day. To have an article in Wikipedia, a micronation (or anything else) must have Wikipedia:Notability, which is not a matter of just saying so but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." See WP:42 for what that means.

Before making any more articles, please read Wikipedia:Your first article. If you continue to post non-notable articles, or to make "pointy" deletion nominations, you may be blocked from editing. JohnCD (talk) 11:22, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Union of Soviet Socialist republic, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Soviet Union. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 11:52, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you create an inappropriate page, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. JohnCD (talk) 12:03, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

Speedy deletion of "Talk:Republicsd"[edit]

A page you created, Talk:Republicsd, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it serves only to attack some entity. Please do not continue to create attack pages, as you will be blocked from editing.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Vacation9 12:21, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  -- Ed (Edgar181) 12:40, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Montosh has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ❤ Yutsi Talk/ Contributions ( 偉特 ) 17:57, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
