Replaceable fair use Image:Argentina-tren-alta-velocidad.jpg[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Argentina-tren-alta-velocidad.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 08:47, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Puerto Madero Torres.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Puerto Madero Torres.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 12:45, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected the Free Use Rationale (FUR) for you. Please look at how I did it so you can fill it better next time you upload an image. Notice that you need one of those rationales for every article that uses the image. In this case, it was only one article --Enric Naval (talk) 14:12, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Argentina-tren-alta-velocidad.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Argentina-tren-alta-velocidad.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:24, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Retiro at night.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Retiro at night.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Shinerunner (talk) 19:34, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This image appears to having been taken from emporis.com, as it even has their watermark --Enric Naval (talk) 22:04, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you uploaded the wrong image by mistake, then I suggest that you ask for the photo to be take down by adding {{db-author}}. This is a template that requests speedy deletion by the own author --Enric Naval (talk) 09:08, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Argentinian cities[edit]

¡Hola amigo! I am very happy that you like the city infoboxes. I especially like the one you are currently doing on Argentina. I wanted to ask if you need help with it, because it looks like you need it. I would be happy to work on it for you. — NuclearVacuum 21:45, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. It would mean a lot to me if you could help make an argument on the talk of the city template of the United Kingdom. I know that you are interested in the way these templates work and are interested in keeping them (to some extent) standard. Please make an argument on Template talk:United Kingdom cities#Consensus if you are intended on keeping some standards here. Please make a statement here and thank you very much. — NuclearVacuum 18:07, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. I've been working on the article GADA 601 with User:DagosNavy. Its one of the few articles on the Falklands War where both sides have worked together.
Actually there is something you might be able to help on and please don't take this the wrong way, its a genuine question. Do the Argentine's find the English toponymy for the Falklands offensive? 21:40, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Roswaqualina3vu.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Roswaqualina3vu.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Collage.[edit]

Gonza:

License tagging for File:Buenos Aires 13.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Buenos Aires 13.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:06, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Buenos_Aires_14.JPG[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Buenos_Aires_14.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:49, 9 July 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 04:49, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violations[edit]

Hello Gonza777, it looks as if you have been systematically and persistently uploading copyright violations. I found the following images, among several others:

  • File:Buenos Aires at night.jpg, uploaded by you as "self-made" on 8 July 2009, dated 21 April 2009; but previously uploaded 4 April 2005 on skyscrapercities by user "Larry" [2]
