Archive 1[edit]

Welcome to my archive. I hope you enjoy the talks from last month. It's not much, but I like things small. And it's Washington Square, not Stockton and Clay!!!

Stockton and Clay[edit]

Please show me a link that definitively says that the station will be at Stockton and Jackson, not Stockton and Clay. SFMTA says quite blatantly "Stockton and Clay." I will relent when proof other than a horribly drawn not-to-scale diagram is presented, but until then, I will stand firm. —Kurykh 05:46, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reply[edit]

It's actually frowned upon to use Wikipedia as a blog per our userspace policy. I don't think that embed videos will work here; only links do. —Kurykh 06:03, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add the Template:helpme tag to someone else talk page. It is designed for use by you if you need help. The other user you're posting a message to will already see a notification, read your message on their talk page and then respond accordingly. KTC 06:04, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add low-quality images[edit]

Your effort in adding more images to wikipedia article is appreciated. But please refrain from adding low-quality images to articles. Fred Hsu 06:19, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed this trolleybus image, for instance. It does not clearly how an articulated trolleybus. The bus itself is too small and not framed properly.

I removed the same image you added to another article. It's irrelevant and the image is inferior to what is already on the article. We welcome replacement of images by better ones. But adding inferior image to articles which already have enough images is simply creating work for other wikipedians; they now need to spend time removing your image.

Another user removed the blurry, unintelligible image you added.

I just removed yet another image. It's well-intentioned, but the metal bars at foreground is too annoying. I can't see the buses, honestly.

Can you please use Edit Summary to help others understand your intentions? Without edit summaries, similar changes like above will be reverted promptly in the future. Your changes stand a better chance to 'sticking' if you help us understand their purpose. Fred Hsu 06:19, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Images and edit summaries[edit]

I have taken the liberty to tag all of your images on Wikipedia to be moved to Commons. I have noticed, however, that some were labeled to be in the public domain. You have noted that you wanted all of your images to be licensed under the Creative Commons licenses, so I believe it is appropriate to notify you of such.

Outside of images, I have a bit of issue, albeit minor, regarding your edit summaries. When editing under sections, please place your own comments outside of the /* */ brackets. They serve to demarcate the section header to facilitate clicking to the section in edit histories and watchlists by other editors. —Kurykh 03:45, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the welcome message, but try looking harder at how I'm editing and what I'm editing, and you will find out who I really am. Once you have found out, e-mail me via the "E-mail this user" link on my established account's user page to confirm your guess. You will find that I am not all that new to Wikipedia. <hint> I am someone who has interacted with you before. </hint> --71.141.117.207 23:49, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Now, I think I know who you are, and I think I may have seen you before. I think I may have seen you before over the summer. I think I know who you are. But, I'm not going to say your name. Aim High! Goodshoped35110s 23:58, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seen? Well, not necessarily. Conversed via other means? Definitely. --71.141.117.207 00:45, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And I've never went to Aim High. To another school in San Francisco, yes. --71.141.117.207 00:49, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I know who you are.
No, that's not me. However, if you don't want me to bother you, that's your choice. I will stop. --71.141.117.207 00:52, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK, then this is it.Goodshoped35110s 00:54, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MUNI[edit]

I reduce the number of the picture back to six because editors on the page are concerned with the number of pictures. Please participate in the discussion process before putting it back or making a revert. Also in case you didn't know, Wikipedia has a policy called WP:3RR which prevented an editor from making three reverts on the same article within 24 hours. Please be aware of this policy as violators are often blocked. Chris! my talk 01:25, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well adding a few pictures back is considered a partially revert as you put back materials that I just delete. Also before making an unilateral edit, please discuss the issue before revert. Chris! my talk 01:46, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I will Goodshoped35110s 05:42, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}

What is your question? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kerotan (talkcontribs) 06:18, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My Question is[edit]

I want to know how to revert the talk page because I was doing some maintenance work on my talk page because no one (except User:Kurykh) was listening to my subpage rule. So, I was redirecting my page to my policy, then, after that, I found out my message didn't show, so I moved them to what I thought was my archive, now those messages are gone. Do you have any ideas? Goodshoped35110s 06:20, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You should be able to find them in your talk pages History. Have a nice day:)--SJP 06:23, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I tried that. It didn't work. I got this:

The edit could not be undone due to conflicting intermediate edits.

Goodshoped35110s 06:23, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just tried it and it worked. That may have happened because I was going to leave a comment, and I was edit conflicted by you. Try it again. It should work.--SJP 06:25, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't.Goodshoped35110s 06:26, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know then. I am sorry I could not help:( I'll send someone else over to help you. I hope that he'll be able to help you.--SJP 06:31, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright[edit]

I have moved all you talk page messages to User talk :Goodshoped35110s/Talk Page Rule, however I for see no benefit from this, for one, you will lose the orange message bar (I think), also there is every possibility that people will just do the same on your new talk page, and 3, its more than likely that automated messages will be delivered here, thus breaking the redirect. However the choice is yours and not mine, so if you want to carry on with the redirect to your talk page rule page, delete the <no wiki></nowiki> tags to activate the redirect, if you have a change of heart, contact me on my talk page.--KerotanLeave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 06:46, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
