Two and a Half Men (season 12)[edit]

Please do not separate the finale of Two and a Half Men into two episodes again. We list episodes as they aired, and the episode aired with one set of credits, with no separation between the halves so that is how the episode is listed. This is a project convention, and is not restricted only to this series. --AussieLegend () 14:52, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, sorry for causing confusion, that was not my intention. I get that the episodes aired together and that there should be some kind of "note" that those have aired without credits and new opening. But, so did the The Mentalist (season 7) series finale the same day, and they are separated on Wikipedia (IMDB also separates both series finales into two episodes). The two part series finale of Smallville on the other hand is labelled 21/22... Problem is, many websites (the one I'm working on included) have Wikipedia episode list crawlers. I just saw that the "manual" (Template:Episode_list/sublist) says they should not be separated, but with a minus in between (e.g. 21-22)? On the site (List of Lost episodes (season 3)) is it as 21/22 on the other hand. How can the example be redirecting to someting different it says? Because if labelling two part episodes that way is how it's correctly done on Wikipedia, we have to update the crawler and fix a lot of incorrectly listed episodes on Wikipedia. If not, we have to fix all the 00/01 episodes... Also, how would you correctly format if there were two different directors/writers involved with each doing only one episode, or if they'd have different names (as in The Mentalist)? Thanks for your help! --Goreb (talk) 16:56, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Series/season/episode list pages[edit]

If you need any help with creating or adding to any such TV pages, feel free to ask me. As per our recent discussion, please note that using IMDb as a source is generally frowned upon and removed/reverted due to the ability of anyone to add anything there. While early series info there could possibly come from production companies or networks, it's just safer for us here at WP to look elsewhere for sources, even if, in the long run, IMDb is proven correct.
