Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to William Villiers, 10th Earl of Jersey. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Craigy (talk) 18:39, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

With regard to this page and your "Vandalism Warning", I am not vandalising the page, and I left some information up there. The Earl had requested that the majority of the detail be removed and so I did that, according to what he thought appropriate. Please refrain from repeating your "undos". Thank you.

Bar "known for his rugby-like stature..." (which I've taken out), there is nothing potentially controversial or libellous about any of the other information on that page. So, whether or not the earl asked you to remove the content or not, I'm afraid what you're doing is considered vandalism here and you will be blocked if you continue to remove the information. Regards, Craigy (talk) 23:01, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I fail to see what you're getting at here!? The information is widely available and referenced. As I said, there's nothing in there to discredit the earl or his family, so a more subsantial reason than just wanting to have the information removed for the sake of it, will have to be given. P.S. I've also protected the page for the time being until the dispute is resolved. Craigy (talk) 16:25, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For what it's worth, it wasn't me who added the Henrician descent information, but I fail to see how you can justify your removal of available information about the earl, when you're quite prepared to discuss what hangs on his bathroom wall!? An interesting anecdote, nonetheless.

I've asked for the opinions of fellow editors on WP:PEER, but seeing as there's been no reply yet, I've submitted a separate request to WP:BOLPN. Craigy (talk) 19:58, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It would seem the earl himself posted news of the pregnancy and birth on this website, so how you can ask me if I would want such information "advertised to the whole world on the web" when he has done so himself? With regards to the house, this article states that it currently belongs to Lord Jersey, another thing "advertised to the whole world on the web".
Anyhow, another user has given their perspective on Talk:William Villiers, 10th Earl of Jersey and has asked for your views there. Seeing as we're not getting anywhere, I suggest you and try and sort it out on that page, with her, as a third party. Craigy (talk) 21:49, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, it's a longshot (and not that it matters or I imagine you'd tell me), but seeing as the earl plays for Gorkys FC and your IP address is linked to Jersey Telecom, are you in fact the earl himself? Craigy (talk) 22:08, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
