If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2017–18 World Rugby Sevens Series, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Wes Wolf Talk 11:52, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Outcome[edit]

As you may have noticed the article has been deleted due to a previous deletion discussion which resulted in a delete of the article. In light of this and the outcome of the sock-puppet investigation, which I am delighted that you are not in connection with that user; I would like to offer advice on the steps to take hereafter.

Now that it has been proven that you are indeed not RVFan1930 or NPFan17 you may request for the article to be undeleted by submitting a request at WP:RESCUE. If they require any further comment, then feel free to contact me at User talk:Wesley Wolf, and I would be more than happy to back-up such request. Once that has been done, I would strongly recommend researching for more sources to include in the article, as a lack of such could risk the article being deleted for a third time - which I'm sure you would not like to see happen. I'm not that familiar with Rugby Sevens, otherwise I would assist in bringing the article to a reasonable Wikipedia standard. Good luck and again, I am pleased of the outcome of the WP:SPI result, and sincerely apologise for any distress or inconvenience it may have incurred. With the high-increase in sock-puppets lately, that caution will always be there to prevent them from causing further disruption. Regards, Wes Wolf Talk 14:49, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/RVFan1930, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

An article you recently created, Romania women's national rugby sevens team, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.  I dream of horses  If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message  (talk to me) (My edits) @ 02:17, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hong Kong Sevens summary[edit]

So you might of noticed that I have been doing a summary of the tournament to date and was wondering if you could try and refine that summary so it has a better chance of being a better article than the ones that we see on most rugby seven tournaments. I am being honest in saying that it does need a bit of work on to get it up to some standard. Matt294069 (talk) 08:36, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
