I'm sorry! Thanks for letting me know about the deletion request[edit]

I'm sorry! I think I was reading/editing stuff about compilers and/or Rust and became curious about you and wanted to make it easier for the next person who became curious about you to satisfy their curiosity. That said, I respect your decision to be someone who doesn't have a Wikipedia page. Thank you for letting me know, and thank you for being kind and considerate in your deletion request.

Wikipedia conventions are indeed confusing, which is unfortunate. (In fact, this is the first time I'm editing a user talk page—or any talk page, for that matter—and I find myself uneasy about whether I'm "doing it right.")

Thanks for your contributions to Rust and all my best,

No worries, thanks for the quick response! I'm not religious about privacy, just shy and on balance prefer not to be too visible.
