I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

Slime Volleyball

[edit]

What happened on Slime Volleyball? Just curious. Rl 18:38, 13 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Google will usually tell you whether something's made up or not, and it's worth trying before you put the VfD notice on a page even in a clear-cut case, because drawing a blank from there is always a good argument for deletion. However, being on Google obviously doesn't automatically mean that we need to have an article for something. Slime Volleiball is not a clear cut case at all (and VfD is quite unpredictable at times), so yes, what really caught my attention was your withdrawing the VfD. What you did was perfectly okay in my book, I was just curious whether you had learned something I didn't know (and you had), or if you needed help. Keep up the good work. Melanie Appleby

[edit]

Hi Grayum. I notice that you merged the Melanie Appleby article with the Mel and Kim article. I fully understand your reasoning behind this, but having a separate article did allow Melanie Appleby to be categorised under 1966 births and 1990 deaths (just as Kim Appleby is categorised under 1961 births). I therefore propose reverting the merge - do you have any comments or objections? CLW 13:04, 23 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Zapatista split

[edit]

I've support the proposal to split the Zapatista page here, I noticed your comment to one user that "You might like to check out the linked pages on the two incarnations." Were you referring to a past state with two distinct articles, or merely referring to the various EZLN, Emiliano Zapata, etc articles? Thanks - Draeco 05:17, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
