Your band[edit]

Sorry, but Wikipedia is not a place to promote your band. Friday (talk) 16:59, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If these guys are a legitimate topic for an encyclopedia article, you may want to get the article started somewhere like User:Greenbug1990/Sandbox. This will give you time to get it into good shape without someone coming along and deleting it. Friday (talk) 17:22, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I put the content back into that link above, so you can keep working on this. Not sure whether it'll be content we can use or not, but we may as well give it a bit of time to develop. Friday (talk) 17:24, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article progress[edit]

Hi, I looked at User:Greenbug1990/Sandbox. If this were in article space today, it'd get deleted very quickly. One major problem is that it's still completely unsourced. If these guys really are getting major media attention, the article needs to make this clear. The other big problem is that it reads like marketing material. Stuff like "With determination, ambition, and an unmatched work ethic, The Switch is in forward motion, winning over the world one set of headphones at a time! Stay Tuned, The Switch will be taking over a city near you before you know it" isn't at all what we look for. On Wikipedia, we make our article neutral rather than signing the praises of the subject. Hope this helps. Friday (talk) 14:47, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
