Too excessive images[edit]

Information icon G'day, this is Edgar Searle. I wanted to let you know that although your contributions may appear constructive — specifically on various rolling stock pages — but you're putting too many images of yours into articles very quickly, and this is too excessive. Please refrain from doing so in future; you may have them in Commons categories (which is fine), but unless already mentioned earlier in the page, they will not be necessary. Thank you. Edgar Searle (talk) 02:22, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Edgar[edit]

Thanks Edgar for making me realise that. I'll admit that I got a bit carried away with the image uploading. I still believe that my last edit of the V set page was needed, it showed different and diverging typed of V set cars that were (in my opinion) needing of an image. The DTD cars, the DCT cars at MainTrain, and the DK series cars, which are rather visually different if you look on the side-fluting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GriffinRails (talkcontribs) 09:58, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Two things[edit]

#1: RBTU is not a reliable source[edit]

This is to do with NSW TrainLink D set. Even on discussion pages, things you ask for addition cannot be added to the article unless a reliable source can be provided for verification, which RBTU is 🙅 not one, nor is it a valid citation or accepted as an external link. --Edgar Searle (talk) 06:25, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

#2: *Please* sign all of your discussion page posts by simply typing four tildes[edit]

Like this:

~~~~
I have never seen you do this at all (doing so will change to who left that message, as well as the date and time displayed in UTC), as if you don't do so, people will not know who left your messages. Thirdly: to reply to a topic, start by just simply pressing return and typing ":". --Edgar Searle (talk) 06:25, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
