Your wrote that you tried "to update the entry on Calve Island from my personal experience" - I am afraid you are right that this won't work. The only way you can "prove my personal experience" is by finding a reliable source and quoting it. You are quite right that the current article is weak and could do with improvement. I am not "resisting" this - quite the opposite - but as an encyclopedia we can't just include things because the editor "knows them". By all means reply here on your own talk page if you prefer.
