Copyright problem report; question[edit]

Hi. On May 22nd, you reported an image for copyright problem, here. I'm attempting to close out the issues listed on that day, but I'm having some trouble determining the situation with that one. I've asked for assistance clarifying the matter there. If you are able to supply further feedback to help close this issue, it would be appreciated. I am also asking the image's uploader to help clarify the matter. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:14, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:23, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about LinguaLeo[edit]

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether LinguaLeo should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/LinguaLeo .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Proposed deletion of Varton[edit]

The article Varton has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Typical promotional article.Fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Article moved to draft[edit]

Hello Gruznov. I recently moved an article you created in the mainspace to the draftspace. I conducted this move for the following reason; Given the past deletion and the note on the talk page (indicating another editor expressed skepticism the subject was notable), I am moving the article to draftspace and requesting the article be sent through WP:AFC, as is recommended by WP:COI and WP:PAID. SamHolt6 (talk) 23:49, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • @SamHolt6: I understand your concern on paid contribution, but I also consider moving Almaz Capital to draftspace unnecessary. It’s a new article based on more solid sources such as Russian Forbes, Kommersant and a venture capital-focused Firrma. I actually complied with Explicit’s request as he asked to ping him if the article's getting reproduced without pushing it through WP:AFC. It wasn’t deleted via WP:AFD afterall. On a side note, Almaz Capital was considered notable even in Russian Wikipedia with much more severe approach to corporate topics. --Gruznov (talk) 01:57, 18 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Almaz Capital (March 26)[edit]

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by K.e.coffman was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Does not meet WP:NCORP.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Almaz Capital, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
