I removed this material because we need to write in a neutral fashion in Wikipedia. Please review Wikipedia's policy on the neutral point of view. I suspect the material involved here is basically correct, but it needs to be written in a more even-handed and less inflammatory manner. Christianity in Japan#Eastern Orthodox Christianity in Japan[edit]

Hey Gufido, never got around to thanking you for your contributions to Christianity in Japan. In particular, I appreciate the attention to detail and refs, and I liked some of the facts you added, e.g. about JW being banned in Japan prior to the Occupation. I'm still holding my breath for the inevitable IP/new user flood for that section... anyway, if you have thoughts or concerns, feel free to express them here or on the talk page.

I wanted to ask a question. I re-organized the section on the Eastern Orthodox Church, and I noticed there were multiple figures for number of members; 9,000, and 36,000. The actual article on the Japanese Orthodox Church has 25,000. Unfortunately neither of these three figures has a source! Since I believe you added the 36,000 figure, I wanted to ask if you had any insight where we might be able to find a source for the current membership of the Orthodox church in Japan. Thanks!

In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Are you serious? Tamara Mumford is a famous opera singer in the Metropolitan Opera and meets the notability criteria for personalities, "for example, having performed two lead roles at major opera houses" (WP:NMUSIC). No. If you wish to add someone without an article to a list of notable people, it is up to the person adding the entry to either WP:WTAF or provide sources in the entry to show that the person would clearly qualify for an article if one were written.
