The other quote "I put $1,000 in a long-term account, they did the background check, and, within an hour, I walked out with my new Weatherby," is expressly sourced to Forbes, but is not found in the Forbes search. Which leads me to believe that the Jan Jacobson quote is also from this unfound Forbes article. The bank employees (in plural) were also interviewed in a film that I have, but it's better to have online sources. Where are you getting that "I put $1,000..." quote from? I thought you were wanting the Forbes article references in the Wall Street Journal Editorial, but that quote isn't in the WSJ article. Which Forbes article are you looking for? Also no particular reason this isn't on the Bowling Talk page, I was just answering a query you left in the Bowling page, so using your Talk page to respond seemed most appropriate. It is certainly possible that my comments regarding my unwillingness to listen to the statements made by the user in question border on personal attacks. I will focus on trying to tone down the level of personal affront in my comments post haste. However, I will not allow the content on some article that I could give two shits about to be dictated via tenacious editing and a willingness to distort and push-push-push untill one wins. Individuals who use such editing tactics should be excluded from a consensus decision. I would note for the second time that I honestly could care less about the debate in question, but I will NOT reward bad editing practices. Hi, you posted on my Talk page about a change I made to the M24 SWS, I think you were referring to the change made after mine, by a User:Squalla and I agree with you that he shouldn't have marked that change as minor. Talk heading

I see your point about the talk heading, but I was commenting back to the first poster, as shown by my level of indention. If you put in a new header there, my comment looks like the first comment and looks very out of place. It also looks like I chose the words for the heading, which I did not.

I don't think we should be adding new headings into existing discussions. They give the reader the wrong idea of who said what. If it is absolutely necesary because of length (which is not the case here), then I think it should say something like "Arbitrary break".

RahXephon

Hi... I'm absolutely new to wikipedia article writing and whatnot, so sorry if I do anything wrong... I just wanted to express my gratitude for your contributions to the article on RahXephon. That series has really had a profound effect on me and the wikipedia page also helped me out with a lot of the information I was curious about. So... thank you.

As a final question, would you have any series that you would recommend to someone who enjoyed this one particularly?

Thank you for that :-) (See Anime and manga awards too ;-) I've mostly organized and re-written information contributed by lots of other editors, so I thank them too. Currently, you will see me contribute more substantive information to that article from reliable sources, and trying to improve it to a higher standard.
I have a list of shows that I want to watch (on my user page), but I don't know if they're good yet. When researching for the RahXephon article, I've begun wanting to watch more mecha anime, particularly Gundam and other classics. In the mecha genre, I've just watched Evangelion (which is good in one way), RahXephon (which is good in another way), Gasaraki (which started promising but failed towards the end) and Full Metal Panic (which has it very good moments, but too much fan service and nonsense for me to seriously recommend it). If you want an ensemble show with complex relationships and such (my favourite part of RahXephon) you might like Infinite Ryvius. Cowboy Bebop is good too. Hello again - haha, you made me sign up for this thing now, there's no turning back... thanks for the comment and guideline, I will definitely get started on editing when I have the time [: I will also definitely check out Infinite Ryvius... that complex personal element really did make RahXephon for me. I did enjoy Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion but for some reason RahXephon really just tops my list of all-time favorites. One thing I particularly enjoyed was the soundtrack - Ichiko Hashimoto (musician) made some very interesting choices with her sound. It can vary greatly from jazzy art-rock to powerful yet intimate piano or string quartet pieces, but no matter what she writes, it's excellent.
I also notice you play violin - what type of pieces do you enjoy playing? I've been playing for most of my life, so if you have any questions or want to know of any new composers I would love to help you out.

Noticed your note on my userpage. I don't know if there's a set definition on what constitutes a "minor" edit or not, but for me, if it's only a sentence or two, or a small clean-up, I usually consider that a minor edit. Actually, I just added some stuff to the section on Quon, which I don't consider a minor edit. BTW, glad to see some RahXephon fans in Wikipedia, that's a truly awesome series. Apparently you are not following the thread of this discussion. The point is that Mark Roberts is someone that a lot of people are citing as a source, but yet I only have second hand information that he is who he seems to be. Hence, I feel, the onus is on him to provide verification that he is who he is. As for my identity, I don't see where that is pertinent to this discussion, as I am making no claims, but just trying to verify the source of the information that I am reading.

With my user page and a search engine, you should be able to find even my name, phone number and map location. And what comment feature are you referring to? If it's on Wikipedia, then just press the tiny + sign at the top. (Assuming monobook.css).
As for Roberts, you could try making an argument that he's not notable enough of a source to user here on Wikipedia. If reliable sources has picked up his arguments, though, that might make him notable. If you want to learn more about Roberts, if that's his name or just a pseudonym, I suggest you have a news paper or magazine contact him for an interview or something. Removal of Comment and Link

Hi Gunnar

I added a link to the emergency services page and some other pages related to emergency services, which you have since deleted as a spam or commerical link.

The link takes people to the international index of emergency service site which allows emergency service worker share expertise. I realise on reflection that I should have put my added article in a bit more context although I feel the link was as relevant as the NREMT which appears within wilkipedia on a number of pages and is as relevant to the link I inserted. The only difference between many of the link are they are American based and the other is not, this is the case of the Index link, which caters to a broader population than the US.

There was no intent to spam. I will re-think about how I should write an additonal piece so it can not be view as an "advert".

I am happy to discuss this further and comply to your rules. I am sorry if this has caused some distress.

In conclusion I think my addition to Emergency Services should be re-considered and the link is relevant to all who work in emergency services. If the link I proposed is considered inappropriate, then organisations such as commerical builders of ambulances (which appear on the ambulance page) and the National Register of EMTs should also be removed to ensure equity.

The NREMT is an established registry established by the American Medical Association, and many other established organizations, founded after recommendation by a presidential commission. If you have a comparable international association link, feel free to link it, but discuss link inclusion on the talk pages of the relevant articles, and I suggest trying to get your link accepted to Paramedic first, without trying in other articles.
Your website seems like one of many catalogue services, and it is not scheduled for publication untill 2007. I did a search for some selected high-population countries without finding any people. On closer inspection, I see that sending an application costs 100 USD minimum, which is expensive for what is only a resume database — a service that is usually free of charge for resume-holders. First-year membership in the AMA, for example, is 210 USD, but that is a full proffesional association, with lobbyists and lots of member activities.

BFC dispute

As a former editor of the Bowling for Columbine article I was wondering if you could consider helping out with some disputes with the article. Recently editors have used what we believe is an improper usage of WP:RS to strip out much of the content critical of the movie, we would like the view of some other editors involved because it's unlikely as we have polar opposite opinions of source that a compromise will be reached without other help. BFC Citations

Since you don't seem to be following the talk page or the mediation page, I thought I might post here. We can agree that the Bushell quote must go, but we feel that we are going to hold the same standard for Pro-gun criticism as that is applied to the anti-gun criticism.

Would you agree to the pro-gun sections to be re-added if they are based on Hardy's book which is from a major publishing house (which every one that I have talked to except Schrodinger seems to think is acceptable), and Kopel's peice from National Review and but nothing that is mentioned on the website (except where visuals that are in the book that are also on the website, which we will cite as a source to view it, but as the source itself). Both the other criticism sections follow this standard currently.

All additions would confirm to the policies of WP:V, and WP:NPOV we will make it clear that both are pro-gun advocates and are members of the NRA, and what is stated is their opinion.

I am attempting to bring together a concensus to bring this to a close, I have pretty much given up on Schrodinger. PPGMD 01:28, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey, I reverted your recent edits on the article, as it was lossy. Whilst de-Japanesefying the linked articles conforms to the WP:J-MOS (though arguably those works are about as well known by they romanised titles as they are by translated, so I'd say leaving them in is useful for quick orientation), you also removed information about the constituent pieces, which is information loss. As WP:MOS-L advises against relying on links too much, I believe it's a valuable piece of info that should be left there. mathrick 23:44, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for telling me. But my edit was not in the least "lossy" as the information is still in the movie article. Re: List of RahXephon media

Hi again. I did a little detective work on the net trying to find some sources, but as I expected, I couldn't find much. A post on a popular portuguese anime message board dated October 29, 2005 indicates the first episode aired that day. The only other source I found was a small news article in one of the main portuguese anime sites, giving October 31, 2005 as the air date of the first episode. On December 18, 2005 I created the RahXephon article on the Portuguese wikipedia, because I had seen the anime on tv, so it's probably right. It aired one episode per week, so it probably ended in March or April. Hope that helped. Cattus 22:58, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
