Alpha Tau Omega chapters-Baird's as a reference[edit]

The 1920 Baird's is full accessible on books.google.com and has been used as a reference on many articles including chapter lists. See http://books.google.com/books?id=2iErAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA84#v=onepage&q&f=false . I added the {{underconstruction}}. I have a great deal of experience with chapter list pages. Those that I have created or significantly helped on include List of Alpha Phi Omega (Philippines) chapters and alumni associations, List of Alpha Phi Omega chapters and List of Delta Sigma Theta chapters. Also, at this time, you've got two hanging references at the end of the list, I would suggest a sentence at the beginning of the list/table that something like "Alpha Tau Omega has 99 active chapters and 106 inactive chapters<ref>blah</ref><ref>other</ref>. Let me know if I can help...Naraht (talk) 02:50, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Another source of dates[edit]

Oddly enough I could only find one place on the Alpha Tau Omega website that included the fact that Mercer was founded in 1880. See http://www.ato.org/ASP/search/searchIndex.xml which is a wierd search file that includes (about a quarter of the way down) a chapter list including founding years. It certainly isn't a great reference, but it may be helpful in finding some cross checked things...Naraht (talk) 02:57, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of chapters[edit]

Actually heading to bed now, but see comment about XML page at ato.org. I would actually add something to the structure that you have that I have found *most* useful. You can include the month and day of chartering while keeping the sorting if you use the dts template. For example both {{dts|1999|12|25}} or {{dts|December 25, 1999}} will properly sort in between two others that are November 1999 and January 2000. I did find a source that includes dates for some of the earlier ones. Its is an ATO Catalog from 1897. See http://books.google.com/books?id=5t0TAAAAIAAJ , about page iv. Good Luck, and I'll take a look at the morning to see where I can help.Naraht (talk) 03:07, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
