Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Hindu–Arabic numeral system, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. information Note: As well as removing and shuffling content without a valid reason (twice so far), you're also adding a redundant and unsourced image (i.e., your WP:OR that you uploaded to Commons). I suggest you read the article. M.Bitton (talk) 18:54, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What unsourced image? Wikipedia wants only images particularly made or clicked by me, thus, I created the image. I am adding the Hindu-Arabic Numeral System with the adoption of Zero. In the page you have referred the Zero and its evolution but failed to provide the adoption along with the image of it, You also did not give the reference of Bindu in Brahmi Script. First Zero was a Bindu or Dot. For your reference: History of the Hindu–Arabic numeral system GurkhanofAsia (talk) 19:02, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is already this image, which is better than the one that you're desperately trying to give WP:UNDUE weight to by placing it at the top the article. Uploading an image doesn't mean you have to impose on Wikipedia, least of all, through an edit war. If you insist on having it there, or anywhere else in the article for that matter, then the WP:ONUS is on you to use the article's talk page and seek WP:CONSENSUS for it. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hindu–Arabic numeral system. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. M.Bitton (talk) 20:00, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
