Hi, and welcome to the WikiProject Greece! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to Greece.

A few features that you might find helpful:

Our sidebar points to most of the useful pages within the project.
The Announcements and Open tasks section is updated quite regularly. You can watchlist it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPGreeceOpenTasks}} there.
Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is recommended that you watchlist it.
The project has a monthly newsletter; it will normally be delivered as a link, but several other formats are available.

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

Interested in working on a more complete article? The peer review department of the project would welcome your help!
Interested in a particular area of Greek history, geography, culture etc. ? There are already two task forces, and you could initiate the creation of more focusing on specific topics or periods.
Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every Greece related article in Wikipedia.

Logos on NFL player pages[edit]

Fresno State coaching template[edit]

I noticed that you created {{FresnoStateBasketballCoach}}. The list that you gave for the coaches was incomplete, but it was far more than I've been able to find in my searching for the coaching history. Do you have a more complete history? Hubie Brooks[edit]

Thanks for making the info box on Hubie Brooks. However, I changed it to Mets colors because I think he is much more well known from his time in NY. Brooks and Mookie Wilson were the stars and most popular players of the bad Mets teams in the early 80's and Brooks was the key piece in the trade for Gary Carter. Brooks eventually returned to NY at the end of his career as well, so he played the most years with the Mets of any team.68.173.209.19 23:28, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Aleksey Savrasenko[edit]

Why did you remove his Greek affiliation to Greek basketball players? He was raised in Greece and started his played half of his career there. Even had or has a Greek name. Savannah State Football Coaches template[edit]

Thanks for your interest in the Savannah State Football template, however it was not ready to be moved from my user space as the list is still incomplete. I have contacted the university's sports information director for a complete list of coaches. I was waiting until the I recieved the list and added the additional names before moving the list. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia.
