Hello

As you are one of the top ten contributors to the macOS, macOS Server and iOS articles, I thought perhaps you might be interested in participating in the Templates for Discussion entry for {{MacOS derivations}}. This template is a navbox. The discussion is stalled because of a lack of contributors.

To summarize the long conversation there (and the changes that happened afterwards), IMHO, this navbox:

  • Is redundant to the {{Apple Inc. operating systems}} navbox. Whatever benefit {{MacOS derivations}} offers can be integrated into the former via editing.
  • Diseminates unreferenced information. A navbox should only help navigate.

As such, it should either be deleted or merged. Currently, this discussion is only attended by the template's creator, and one other anonymous editor (IP) who doesn't have any other contributions to Wikipedia.

Best regards,

802.11 Management Frame

Hi, I restored the entry with the management frame format that you removed. If you see more detail the frame looks different than the generic frame previously added. See IEEE 802.11-2016 Standard document, page 692.

@Buhadram: The only difference is that some of the optional fields in the generic frame aren't in management frames; those frames are also absent in non-QoS data frames (no QoS field) if you don't have a distribution system (so no address 4). That's better discussed by explaining which fields are optional and when they're present than by showing a "management frame" image that could be read as saying "this is what management frames look like, which is different from other frames", because they're not different from, for example, non-QoS data frames in a network without a distribution system.
What's interesting about management frames is the payload, i.e. the fixed part and the IEs, not the 802.11 headers. Guy Harris (talk) 23:33, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

List of IBM Products

It has been years since I've looked at this. Over that time the title has been outgrown and should be revised to:

List of IBM Products, Services, and Subsidiaries

... and anything else you might think of. Entries for both services and subsidiaries should include from and to dates (unlike the machines that, while silenced, live forever). 67.160.196.6 (talk) 00:56, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

Punched card numeric?

Did the census taker ask if you were married (yes/no) or ask how many times you were married (0,1,2...). Read the digital ref you deleted. 67.160.196.6 (talk) 22:46, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
