Speedy deletion of Red Avalon

A tag has been placed on Red Avalon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Jerry Lawler

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for the copyediting you did to Jerry Lawler. However, I don't think mentioning an entire date three times is necessary, and informal phrases like "family, friends and fans alike were treated to positive reports as Lawler was slowly being eased off sedation..." are less appropriate than merely saying, "Lawler was eased off sedation" or "Lawler was reported to be eased off sedation." Also, the passage about the angioplasty would be more streamlined as simply, "On September 11, 2012 he underwent an angioplasty to improve blood flow to his heart." Auston Matthews

Please stop entering a line for the 2016-17 season to the Auston Matthews article. It's customary to add a season's stats for a player only after the end of the season, rather than during the season (where the numbers would have to be maintained over and over again).
