Vaughan

You're right; I went to check your previous edit and found a page on the Marvel site that spelled it "Vaughn", but now I am finding many more that spell it correctly. Thanks for the edits. --Chris Griswold () 23:46, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Re:Robotman

I simply saw two small articles perfectly capable to exist within a main one. So I merged both of them back. And I'm sorry, but your implication about a "direct connection" is simply based on your own opinion. They are on the same page because they share the same name and WP is an enyclopedia. Period. There's nothing further. But I ask you to please expose your thoughts at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics. Regards —Lesfer (t/c/@) 13:15, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Death's Head

Dear Pedant,

I'll sign what I want to sign thanks. If you want to improve my articles, improve them, but stop wasting my time, and don't do what Mrph does and make articles worse by messing up the layout, deviating from the topic and repeating the same information multiple times in the article. You can make a far more valuable contribution by writing or adding to new articles rather than going around adding making unhelpful and futile additions and edits to discussion pages. Perhaps when you've been on wikipedia for more than a couple of weeks you'll understand that.

P.S. It's not polite to talk to people behind their backs, please remove your comments from Mrph's talk page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Monkeyhousetim (talkcontribs) 23:29, 10 February 2007

re: Recreated categories and the deletion thereof

The best suggestions I can offer are:

  1. Post to the Comics Project talk page. Include the link to the previous CfD and the fact that it is a recreation and that a list had been created.
  2. Post it for CfD, again include the link and note that it's a recreation and that a list had been created.
  3. Suggest that the list be merged into Morrison's bio. Do this on the two article pages and, if you do, note it in the above posts.
  4. For a clear look at the reasoning check the Oct 28, 2006 CfD for similar CfDs for Chris Claremont and Stan Lee characters cats. Both were mentioned in the original CfD and the indication is they went up on the 28th and were also deleted. (I'd also check for both of those with the "new" Morrison wording. If they have been, note and CfD them as well.)

Hope this helps... — J Greb 02:22, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

The Comfort of Strangers (film) renaming

They are done, at The Comfort of Strangers (film) and The Comfort of Strangers now. - Denny 07:25, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Enduring Love (film)

The name change was ill-advised the article was about both. I will split to two and the only way to solve the empass. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 07:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Ok, point taken. I was looking only at the content of the article as it stood so - bear with the comment as based on what was currently there. At least the articles are more clearly defined now. Hopefully someone who knows the works better can improve the Plot details and articles in general. Sorry to have bothered you. Regards :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 10:09, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Castle

The tagging coincided with a period when I scaled back my wikipedia involvement. I actually thought the merge had already been done as I haven't heard anything else about it of late. Please feel free to jump in you'd like to. Cheers! 23skidoo 18:49, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Comics

Sorry for what looked "shouting". I simply had CAP Locks on the first time I wrote it. As for "implicit" nationality, I totally disagree with you. We must be international, un-biased and encyclopedical. You must put yourself into a user from Burkina Faso, Tonga or otherwere, perhaps not even knowing that Marvel Comics is from the US or from South Africa. Why in French comics entries nationality is always specified, then? Ciao and good work. --Attilios 16:37, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
