FR Japan 2024 TOM'S[edit]

Hello, H4MCHTR hope you are well. Regarding the teams of TOM'S Formula & PONOS Racing, both teams are run by TOM'S. Also I put them as one as they are basically are same team. But if you want to split as it is, I have no problems with that. Thank you for the understanding. User:Thfeeder (talk) , 19 February 2024

@Thfeeder: If you have a source for this, we can handle this like for example the partnership between Juncos and McLaren in the 2023 IndyCar Series.

Hello, H4MCHTR.There's no precise source, but I put this link to consider if it's valid. Thank You. https://www.as-web.jp/sports-car/938777/attachment/asimg_p06_ea64562d31c6f82 https://www.as-web.jp/domestic/736295/attachment/asimg_ak3q2718_1e6135a23fd6c4f

Eurocup 3[edit]

looking at the schedule for the Formula Winter Series at aragon, it looks like there is some sort of Eurocup-3 winter series - https://formula-winter-series.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/5-aragon-timetable-winter-series.pdf Shall we put it in the main Eurocup article like we did for f3 Asia back in like 2018 as it just 1 round (I think), or create a new article? Thanks. S (talk) 19:44, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@RxxingAddict it's incredibly weird that there is no official announcement for this. I'd say we handle it like the 2024 Formula Pro USA Championship or the 2024 Formula Car Championship, both have one-round winter series. H4MCHTR (talk) 21:38, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Formula 3 Standings[edit]

Hi, I see you removed the zero for Matías Zagazeta in the Driver's Standings. The zero should actually be there, just look at all the motorsport championship standings tables there are, there is also a zero in the points column even if the driver is not classified. BryOn2205U (talk) 12:47, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@BryOn2205U true, you're right. I have a history of reverting numbers on the left side of the table back to dashes, and mindlessly did it on the right side too. My mistake! H4MCHTR (talk) 12:58, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
ah okay, no problem. Thank you for changing it back :) BryOn2205U (talk) 13:09, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Indycar[edit]

One example is the F4 sea championship. S (talk) 13:14, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was not aware of that, thanks. F4 SEA is even closer to the IndyCar situation with the NC round being in the middle of the season instead of at the start, so I would be fine with your version. H4MCHTR (talk) 13:17, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Shall i revert it again then ? S (talk) 14:22, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Formula E[edit]

Please see this: https://www.fiaformulae.com/en/standings?season=84467676-4d5d-4c97-ae07-0b7520bb95ea&tab=drivers&period=latest https://www.fiaformulae.com/en/standings?season=84467676-4d5d-4c97-ae07-0b7520bb95ea&tab=teams&period=latest https://www.fiaformulae.com/en/news/493823/tokyo-race

The manufactures is Maserati not Stellantis, this is the group. The victory in Sao Paulo belongs to McLaren, not Nissan. Let's not confuse the attribution of the powertrain with the manufacturer. Best regards

@79.30.44.95: You're confusing the Teams' championship with the Manufacturers' championship. Maserati and McLaren are the teams using Stellantis and Nissan powertrains respectively. See https://www.motorsport.com/formula-e/news/formula-e-implements-manufacturers-trophy-2024/10587788/: "Currently, six manufacturers compete in Formula E including Electric Racing Technologies, Jaguar, Mahindra Racing, Nissan, Porsche, and Stellantis". Cheers, H4MCHTR (talk) 20:46, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@79.30.44.95: Deleting the whole table is definitely not the way to go, either. The Manufacturers' Championship exists, and it has the six entries that are currently in the article, this is sourced. H4MCHTR (talk) 21:04, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I actually checked, it's exactly as you say, the constructors' championship was introduced on 15 March 2024.

It's truly incredible that they put Stellantis instead of Maserati!! and they didn't put the McLaren!! 79.30.44.95 (talk) 21:05, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That is because it is strictly according to the powertrain, not like for example F1, where multiple different manufacturers can share powertrains. I guess it makes more sense since the powertrain is the main difference between the cars, as the chassis for example is a spec part unlike in F1. H4MCHTR (talk) 21:07, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Usf pro 2000[edit]

In all other articles we do we don’t do a whole different section for drivers that aren’t entered into a round? S (talk) 19:25, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@RxxingAddict we absolutely did, look at last year's Indy NXT that has every driver that's absent for some rounds, or the FRECA seasons where drivers coming and going for every round are summarized. You could argue that it is an expected abstention because Towns has only been announced on a part time schedule anyway, so we might not have to list him. But I'd say we list him anyway, because we don't know which rounds he'll enter and which he won't for now. H4MCHTR (talk) 19:31, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough S (talk) 19:36, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ligier JS F4 series[edit]

is there any chance we can create a page for the ligier JS F4 series which is basically US F4 but with the old car? Or we could add it in to the F4 us page? What do you think? S (talk) 19:38, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not that into F4, but from what I've heard the Ligier series has like 20 drivers announced while F4 US has around four? So in my mind there should easily be enough relevant sources to base an article on. It should be its own article, adding it to the F4 US article makes no sense in my mind as the two are totally separated and only on is FIA-sanctioned. Feel free to create the article, maybe ask SandoLorris for his help if you want, I see him around the F4 articles all the time. Cheers, H4MCHTR (talk) 06:20, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay 👍 S (talk) 07:35, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

2024 Super Formula Lights[edit]

Hi there, hope you have a good day. I know that you have updated the page's results, and you doing it one section at a time while I do it straight all without realizing you did it first. After I publish it and it redirect as an edit conflict. And I just paste back my work out of habit because in the previous past some editors just update the results from other racing series incomplete, while I already updated the results complete, making it edit conflict. It is annoying when I already update it hard, then have the edit conflict appears because someone disturb it with half assed updates thus every time when there's an edit conflict I just copy paste my work and not bothered to check the updated results. Thus why I did not notice your updated results there. .

In my opinion you should not undo my updates, because I already use my time to update the results, and both of our updates difference just in the format and just ignore it than you undo my work makes it look like you not appreciate my work. If you undo my edits because it is not sourced or you just rearrange I understand that because make it clean and factual. I appreciate your update works, and editing. We all here makes mistakes, and we are here helping out to improve. Hope in the future this small matter shouldn't be happened again, we move on and improving. Thank you for your understanding. Thfeeder (talk) 08:24, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You're complaining that I am not appreciating your edits while calling mine "half-assed updates" - that does not sound like appreciation to me. I made one edit per table, four in total, I'd neither call that incomplete nor half-assed. I reverted your edits because your format did not match the format used in other parts of the article: the table shown which points are awarded for which position used bgcolor="#...", so I wanted to match the rest of the article to that. But do as you please, the matter is not important enough to warrant reverting you again.
I also do not want this small matter to disturb our editing work further, so I'll explain myself better the next time I'm reverting anything. Cheers, Hmnphl (talk) 08:45, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is another miscommunication between us. I just want to clarify that no I did not said your previous edits are half assed, it's just the experienced that I had before from someone who edit it not properly thus why I always copy paste my work whenever there is edit conflict without checking it. And yes I should check it again, but that was just out of habit of mine. The ones that you update recently is right and not wrong thus I appreciate your work than other editors. Like I said we all make mistakes, and I just hope we do not have this miscommunication in the future and still helping out. Thfeeder (talk) 08:55, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I understand - thanks for explaining, all good! :) Hmnphl (talk) 08:56, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
