Your user page contents[edit]

Your project doesn't sound like suitable material for Wikipedia, Wikipedia only publishes articles for topics that have received significant coverage in reliable sources. Your "piece" sounds like original research and Wikipedia is not interested in that. Theroadislong (talk) 17:10, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Theroadislong, Thanks for responding. I am afraid, however, that your advice isn't helpful given the investment I have made in the project. Here is the first five pages or so, which should allow you (or others looking) to provide a more thoughtful response. Please note that my implied claim that I influenced the Supreme Court's action in the Goldfarb case is supported in a book cited in note 6 (which regrettably does not appear here). I think other, similar claims of influence are similarly supported. In most cases the text is supported by footnotes citing the articles being summarized. I hope you find this excerpt satisfies your concerns or at least reopens your mind. I could easily supply a pdf link to the full completed text, with footnotes, but need instruction about how to do it.

If you wish to draft an autobiography you can do so here Draft:Clark Canfield Havighurst, but judging by what you posted here [1] it is unlikely to be accepted. Theroadislong (talk) 15:22, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

March 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you.
