Hello, HMAS onslow, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like Wikipedia and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. The article Barbados air wing has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Edit summary[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!--ז62 (talk) 19:15, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have noticed that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! --ז62 (talk) 16:00, 16 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ivory Coast air force[edit]

Hello HMAS onslow,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ivory Coast air force for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Disambiguation link notification for March 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Air force of Burkina Faso, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MI-4 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Your contributed article, Seychelles Peoples Air Force[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Seychelles Peoples Air Force. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Seychelles_People's_Defence_Force#Air_Force. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Seychelles_People's_Defence_Force#Air_Force. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — IVORK Discuss 02:16, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Biafran air force requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://weaponsandwarfare.com/2015/10/12/nigerian-civil-war-air-war/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 07:26, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Biafra into Biafran Armed forces. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted copied template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:27, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Real nonsense[edit]

Please dont you ever make up things as you did here. Adding a picture of old aircraft from the Museum of Aviation, Belgrade (Belgade is in Serbia you know? Not in Bosnia), with planes with clear isignia of the Air Force of Serbia and Montenegro, and using the picture which clearly indicated that in the file information, and saying it is "Some Bosnian J-21s in a scrapyard"... No comments... Just check you facts first please and dont add wrong information as such was. Regards, FkpCascais (talk) 04:56, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi HMAS onslow, Greetings to you. As per my previous message to you, this article of your faces with same problem which you need to provide inline citation (source) to for verification of the content claim.

You have again tried to use wikipedia as a reference in Royal Bhutan Army Air Arm. Splitting small amounts of dubiously referenced content into new pages does not help writing the encyclopedia. @HMAS onslow: Please do specifically read wp:Circular - and I mean very carefully - as you've been repeatedly adding links to other Wikipedia articles in stead of references to reliable sources (recently here, but it really wouldn't be very difficult to find more examples in history of your edits) which is allowed only under very special circumstances (e.g. when using Wikipedia article as a primary source about Wikipedia article, not using it as a secondary source when referencing facts outside of Wikipedia) and you should stop it completely. Also, when I was checking history of your edits, it occured to me that the pattern of your edits is kind of similar to user ARA SANTA FE, sometimes even editing the same articles, so please read also this. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Revolutionary Army of the People of Guinea-Bissau, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of copied without attribution from Military of Guinea-Bissau. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

  • It covers a topic on which we already have an article - :Military of Guinea-Bissau. (See section A10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at :Military of Guinea-Bissau, or to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

Request reason:

so after thinking about why i got perm blocked and i now know that my actions are wrong and that i am not innocent for my actions. I hope that this appeal is enough and may i pls have an unblockHMAS onslow (talk) 22:46, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, but I don't think this request and the comment below suffice to show that you understand how your conduct was problematic. If you thought all those warnings pointing out problems with your editing were jokes, I have to wonder whether a collaborative environment like Wikipedia is the right kind of project for you. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hi HMAS onslow. Why did you ignore previous warnings and what are you going to edit in the future? --NeilN talk to me 22:58, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ok so the reason for the ignorance of warnings is because i did not know the consequences of ignoring them and thought they wear all a joke. I will from now on type my own work and only create articles that havent already been cerated so i hope this is enough to let me get unblocked

Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ARA SANTA FE. Thank you. An article you recently created, Navy of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Hello, HMAS onslow. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Vietnamese submarine Hồ Chí Minh City".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the db-afc, db-draft, or db-g13 code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Sam Sailor 05:09, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Air Force of Burkina Faso requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/africa/bf-af.htm.

💵Money💵emoji💵💸 20:52, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
