In response to your feedback[edit]

Unfortunately, deletionists often have a "shoot first, ask question later" mentality when it comes to new editors. If you want to talk to nice editors, you could check out the teahouse.

Response to your comment on my talk page[edit]

Hi, I looked at the Assam talk page and I saw the User:bbhagawati as you said accused you of being a "fraudster" and "bias". I can see he was irritated about your opinion and you were shocked and appalled at what he or she said. But currently it seems he does not have a account with Wikipedia anymore. Do you know what happened to his account?

Hi again, if his new account has not been active for the Assam talk page, you shouldn't worry. Remember this is Wikipedia, everybody's opinion matters. Don't let a bizarre user stop you from making a good, unbiased opinion. If this happens again you should really contact a admin, for the user was attacking you. Thanks for editing Wikipedia, If you have any problems or questions, please feel free to drop it in talk page. Have a great day! (:

A note on the sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that a previously uninvolved administrator has also said that the sockpuppet investigation against you is "utterly without merit" [2]. That being said, there is a small group of administrators who normally close SPIs, and it routinely takes several days for these investigations to be closed due to the backlog. I have not assessed your other actions on Wikipedia (e.g., what you might have done to make this person upset with you), and I don't wish to get involved with that, but as far as sockpuppetry is concerned, I think you have nothing to worry about. This IP user is not getting any brownie points for making frivolous accusations against you at AN, either. Cheers, —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:35, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot for the update. I have no idea why the IP is upset with me. We've never talked before. All of a sudden, 3 months after I offered the Third Opinion on Assam Etymology, I get a message that I got involved into an accusation for sockpuppetry and threats! Actually, I think that there is a group of people upset with User:Chaipau because they don't agree with his views on Assam. When I offered a completely unbiased Third Opinion for the Assam Etymology section, I had not realised that it was such a sensitive issue by a minority group. I judged purely on scientific criteria, i.e. the content, the sources, the arguments and unbiased info I found online. I have no conflict of interest and I don't even live in the same continent. I do agree with User:Chaipau that the IP is somebody else's sockpuppet. User:Kurmaa is very offensive, has been blocked in the past, and the IP style resembles his/her. Wikipedia is not and should not be a place for people full of hatred like this. --H tan H epi tas (talk) 19:38, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
