Possible vandal (I wrote possible vandal to start with, then changed it to just "vandal"; changing back)[edit]

--78.156.109.166 (talk) 20:31, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm no a vandal. Harold Camping really is dead. Call FR and confirm.

No one says it, AFAIK. Only Jill Diringer on Facebook "Goodbye HC".--78.156.109.166 (talk) 20:52, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry it just wasn't in the news on 16 December (at least not on YT, WP, my TV, i dont have any real access to news websites but I think it came onto news websites after you updated the HC article, so, I think, no proof from that at the time you wrote it). Could hardly call FR.--78.156.109.166 (talk) 09:46, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's okay. I understand now that I shouldn't rush in when I can't substantiate something immediately. Thanks for the lessons learnt. :) --Hamburglar2011 (talk) 16:09, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Substantiate = ?
I think proof or source--78.156.109.166 (talk) 20:21, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Google it. --Hamburglar2011 (talk) 00:18, 19 December 2013 (UTC)--Hamburglar2011 (talk) 00:18, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I can't.

--78.156.109.166 (talk) 20:10, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Whyever not? In any case here is the result of your inquiry when you Google "Define (whatever word)":

sub·stan·ti·ate səbˈstanCHēˌāt/ verb verb: substantiate; 3rd person present: substantiates; past tense: substantiated; past participle: substantiated; gerund or present participle: substantiating

   1.
provide evidence to support or prove the truth of.
"they had found nothing to substantiate the allegations"
synonyms:	prove, show to be true, give substance to, support, uphold, bear out, justify, vindicate, validate, corroborate, verify, authenticate, confirm, endorse, give credence to More

Can't use Google right now, and I can only read simple words. "Thanks for the lessons learnt."u2. Are you HC's secret son?--78.156.109.166 (talk) 19:49, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not related to him. --75.94.89.130 (talk) 16:42, 27 January 2014 (UTC) Huh? i thought 75 was hamburglar2011? why are you involcving — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.156.109.166 (talk) 15:59, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Um, rephrase your question. I'm not 75. I used to be involved in the sense that I was a Campingite and learned a lot about him along the way and made connections to people close to him. I also used to call him up on the Open Forum --75.94.89.130 (talk) 16:04, 30 January 2014 (UTC) I meant IP 75--78.156.109.166 (talk) 15:55, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

My IP is dynamic and may have changed. It's still me, "Hamburglar". --75.94.89.130 (talk) 17:40, 31 January 2014 (UTC) Welcome back! What does Campingite mean? Why is there a 2011 in your username? Google is blocked on this PC.--78.156.109.166 (talk) 19:54, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Little tip: Leave some room between my paragraphs and your replies. Thanks for the welcome back. :) A Campingite is a derogatory term for a Harold Camping follower. 2011 is either in my name because I believed that would be the end at the time I created the nickname or just Hamburglar was taken. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.94.89.130 (talk) 18:01, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do you believe in EOW? It began in 2011. Tell me like honestly, what can be used instead of Campingite? The not-leaving-room-for-you was intentional. You forgot to sign your post.--78.156.109.166 (talk) 20:33, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I see. I used to believe 2011 was the end of the world. Though I still believe there will be an end, I no longer entertain the idea that one can know the date. I suppose "Harold Camping follower" works. --75.94.89.130 (talk) 16:17, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It is critical to provide reliable, published sources in biographies[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Harold Camping. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. We wait for published sources—sometimes multiple sources—before adding information about a person's death. First-hand knowledge from a friend is insufficient. if the Family Radio website were reporting the death, that might be enough to go on. However, they're silent about it, and a Google search shows nothing, so Wikipedia policy says we will not add a report of his (alleged) death at this time. —C.Fred (talk) 20:58, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, Fred. When sources do become available, please allow my edits to be restored because I'm certain he is dead. FR hardly ever updates anything on their site, but I will keep checking.. Thanks.

I would also like to note that he has been active up until at least last month recording brief Bible studies that were aired several times a day but set aside for the Christmas programming. --Hamburglar2011 (talk) 01:22, 17 December 2013 (UTC)--Hamburglar2011 (talk) 01:22, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:17, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
