I am adding this information based on paper records created by relatives that once lived in Hardaway. If the information needs to be removed I understand but there are simply no scholarly sources where this information exists. I wanted to add this information for anyone who may be curious about the history of this community. Let me know if I need to do anything to keep this information up. Thanks,

They are not government records. The title of the documents read "History of the Hardaway Community". They are records created by residents of the community over time. They were given to me by my grandfather and based on what I am reading they were compiled by the daughter of a woman named Mattie Oswalt Blackburn in collaboration with other former residents. Apart from my grandfather, these individuals have passed away in the past 20 years. As far as I know (and have been told), all official government records were lost in fire at the courthouse in Union Springs, AL where they were kept. Hampboles (talk) 01:34, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
