links[edit]

A wiki notification appeared on the Karen Dawisha page I created saying that it needed more links ("This article needs more links to other articles to help integrate it into the encyclopedia. Please help improve this article by adding links that are relevant to the context within the existing text. (October 2015"). I have worked on it and it now has a total of 25 links to other articles. Is that enough?

And how do I let wiki know so that the notification disappears? It makes the page look sketchy for someone who isn't reading the details carefully, which is frustrating because I actually spent a lot of time researching and sourcing it, and I want it to have the best possible presentation.

p.s. thanks for that warm welcome, any ideas for this? @I dream of horses:

It doesn't make it look sketchy, it just means you need to add wiki links within the context. For example Karen Dawisha (born 1949, Colorado) is an American academic and author turns into Karen Dawisha (born 1949, Colorado) is an American academic and author. Feel free to remove the notice when it's been done (note this applies to the content within the whole page, not just what I mentioned). --  Kethrus |talk to me  18:30, 7 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the image you uploaded has already been uploaded on Wikimedia Commons at File:Karen_Dawisha_headshot.png. If you're not familiar with Wikimedia Commons, it's a repository of freely-licensed media that can be used on different wikis. You can use files on Commons the same way you would with files on Wikipedia. Cheers! Sn1per (t)(c) 16:13, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
