Please return Celebratory Technology to draftspace[edit]

I'm not sure why you moved it in the first place, considering the first section header is literally called "Article Draft". Regardless, the article is in an abysmal state—it's not clear what exactly the subject of the article even is, it reads like a personal essay, and there are very few inline citations. I suggest putting the article through Articles for creation as a sanity check that it is in line with norms, as there are many more issues I did not bother to list.

I'm sorry I couldn't find a softer way to word this. Thank you for your contributions. Snowmanonahoe (talk · contribs · typos) 01:07, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for this feedback. This is a class assignment and it is subpar at this point. Students are expected to provide missing details and polishing this week and next, getting global feedback is part of their experience although I agree what is posted is less than I expected at this point. I will address all the issues that got missed. Happy2be2022! (talk) 01:51, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Is adding a long prose piece on autism in a completely irrelevant place, Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section, as you did, also a class assignment? Who is the teacher of this class? (I'm asking for their Wikipedia account, not their real name.) We are prepared to be patient with students, but not to the point of tolerating contributions that are indistinguishable from vandalism. PS, looking at your userpage, I gather that you are both an instructor (now) and a student editor (in 2022). So are you the teacher of the class? And you added the text to the Manual of Style..? Please encourage students to leave what you call "subpar" articles in draftspace. They can get feedback there too. Bishonen | tålk 21:02, 2 May 2024 (UTC).[reply]
