Welcome![edit]

Hello, Harold Lerch, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Help me![edit]

Please help me with... I have information to add to two articles but I cannot figure out how to cite (insert) references. Harold Lerch (talk) 14:25, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Answered at the Teahouse. Please only use one means to seek assistance, to save the time of other editors replying to you. Thanks 331dot (talk) 14:45, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Lewistown, Pennsylvania appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Harold Lerch. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Randy Lerch, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:01, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

Assuming that you're this [1] Harold Lerch. According to WP-philosophy, you are WP:NOTABLE if you have been written about in several sources that are, at the same time, reliably published, independent of you and about you. This excludes stuff like online bookstores (and their reader comments), your own publications and Goodreads. The Dailyitem.com thing was the only thing I could find that seems to fit, and per "rules" like WP:GNG and WP:BASIC it is not enough. Off-topic, I also found one of your books in Swedish. Even more off-topic, you may like I Am the Very Model of a Biblical Philologist. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 19:33, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
