December 2016[edit]

Hi @HarrietFest:

I just wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your edits on Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse. The article you're editing/writing Wikipedia:Stephen F Eisenman (Art Historian) needs a bit of clean up and a few rounds of revisions before it's ready for prime time. So, I would hold off on linking to it from other articles for a bit. Discuss it with other editors, and submit it for review first. It will turn out much better. Don't let that discourage you though. Your work could turn into something great, so keep going. :) Hannibal Smith ❯❯❯ 04:00, 18 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

OK thanks. Does that mean that someone will take a look at the page and make revisions or suggestions?

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Anthropocene Alliance requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ɯɐɔ 💬 20:05, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Link to Micanopy town commission meeting has gone dead[edit]

Hi, Harrietfest. I really like it that Micanopy has declared June to be Pride Month there. I also think, as an important step in the town's history, your mention of it deserves to be in Wikipedia. But the link you left is access-denied and there is no archived backup. Where can we find the town commission's website? Do they have archives of their old meetings? Where can we find a reliable source for the information? With no source, someone would have grounds to remove the information and I really don't want that to happen... Thank you Oona. I changed the link. I hope that it's better. HarrietFest (talk) 23:51, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
