Army Foundation College[edit]

Hi - I have adopted the changes you made to the lead section and the training section of the article. Please note that any additions to the article should be independently sourced as required by WP:SOURCE. A good example is Inglis Barracks: you will see that each paragraph has a citation at the end of it. Please note that the citations need to be independent so using the Ministry of Defence website or college website as the source would be inappropriate. Also if you have any connection to the college you should not be editing the article as you have a conflict of interest. (see WP:COI): instead you should be posting the new material together with the independent citations to the talk page for the article. I hope this helps. I strongly advise you read Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools/Article guidelines for guidelines as to what school articles require.

A Wikipedia article about a school is absolutely not simply another "About Us!!!" page listing out the school's self-stated facts, promoting its curriculum, etc. It should not smack of advertising in the slightest.

A Wikipedia school article should instead address "what would a completely disinterested outside expert observer find remarkable about this school?" Have journalists written about controversies over its methods? Have architectural journals written analyses of its buildings and how they represent the Deco style? We don't care what the school says about itself since anyone can go online and say whatever they want about themselves, but we care what reputable outside observers say.

Right now this is written as an advert, or at best a "here's why our school is great!" page, with a bunch of mission statements, corporate philosophy, etc. And it leaves out completely vital facts like when was this school founded, by whom, and why?

Please read the School Guidelines article recommended above, and I promise it will give you a much, much better idea of what this article should include or not include.
