September 2007[edit]

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Anglo-Saxons. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. If you are going to remove content, and you have a good reason, please state it in your edit summary.jacĸrм ( talk | sign ) 17:17, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An edit summary should strive to answer the question, "Why did you make this edit?". Providing an edit summary, even if the edit is minor, makes Wikipedia work better by quickly explaining to other users what your change was about.
You provided no edit summary. Please don't expect users to search for why you made edits. → jacĸrм ( talk | sign ) 17:32, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I assume you're User:86.133.161.231, so I shall respond here. An edit summary is the box under the text box you edit. This box should be used to describe what changes you have made and why. You may direct other users to talk pages, such as, you could have put "removed content because of whatever. See the Anglo-Saxons talk page." Without telling users why you removed content, it will be reverted, as you did not give a valid reason for removing it. And I partially study anglo-saxon history, but that is not important. No given reason for removal of content will result in your edits being reverted, and even warnings, whether I study the subject in question or not. → jacĸrм ( talk | sign ) 17:47, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not 'POV'ing it, I'm completely independant from that. I was just reverting your edit because you provided no valid reason for removing the content which was visible to me. → jacĸrм ( talk | sign ) 17:49, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's alright, glad to help. Try to use it in future, so other users do not assume you removed it for no reason! Happy editing, peace, and be calm. → jacĸrм ( talk | sign ) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackrm (talkcontribs) 17:52, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
