Hello[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, Hatashe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! Hi! I've recently created Wikipedia:WikiProject Bangladesh/Upazila templates. If you look at Category:Cities, towns and villages in the Barisal Division you'll see I started stubbing Bangladeshi villages but gave up because I couldn't find any data on them. If you know a site which has population data on all of the villages in Bangladesh, google recognises 27,000 of them then there is more of a chance they will be started. ANyway first of all you should be focusing on cleaning up the Upazila articles. I would also recommend merging the villages project with wikiproject Bangladeshi geography The Bald One White cat 18:49, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some pointers thought. Please don't add district templates or district categories to articles on villages. These village are certainly NOT Districts of Bangladesh. Please see Pathorghata, Gopalgonj. I have removed the excess categories. Please ONLY use Category:Cities, towns and villages in the Dhaka Division. Category:Villages of Bangladesh should be deleted as our convention is to use the category above. Please CITE REFERENCES. It makes it difficult for editors to follow it and verify it otherwise. Also please google search coordinates as I see you;ve wongly placed the same coordinates in every village infoboc box you;ve started. Where are you getting the population data on villages from? The Bald One White cat 19:06, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to User:Dr. Blofeld. Yes, I'm try to learn more about wikipedia, especial thanks to help me. Yes I put same coordinate all village under Nanikhir union, its difficult to identify each coordinate for each village, so I decide to put same coordinate for all village under a union like Nanikhir. Yes, and I've a mistake that I put same coordinate in Kasalia and I edited Kasalia with Reference. Hasanuzzaman (talk) 14:11, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. I tell you what. If I stub all of the villages in Dhaka Division, do you think you could expand them afterwards? Its probably easier if I start them and you expand them? Anyway I'm very glad you are interested as I'm sure you can see how much is missing from Bangladesh. Keep in contact anyway. The Bald One White cat 14:17, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page[edit]

I !voted to KEEP your user page, but I agree it reads like a CV. Please take a look at WP:UP#NOT. If you remove some of the material, I think it is less likely that someone will push for deletion. I think listing your books and research is acceptable, as it demonstrates your areas on interest and knowledge when it comes to editing Wikipedia on those subjects. However, the opening paragraph reads as if you were writing it in BIO style. I suspect that was intentional, but it leads to the impression it is not focused on Wikipedia related issues. Some of the extra-circular activities seem unrelated to Wikipedia issues.--SPhilbrickT 14:44, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have closed the MFD as a consensus to keep. I would encourage you to address the concerns of others with reference to the tone of your userpage. Cheers, bibliomaniac15 03:45, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

April 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Isaac Newton, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The source you cited did not support the information you added to the article.Bill Price (nyb) 18:22, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:Notyourbroom[edit]

in the Article of Isaac Newton, it has written Sir Isaac Newton PRS was a Theologian [1]. It's also said Newton was also highly religious. He was an unorthodox Christian, and during his lifetime actually wrote more on Biblical hermeneutics and occult studies than on science and mathematics, the subjects he is mainly associated with. Newton secretly rejected Trinitarianism, fearing to be accused of refusing holy orders. Later studies on his biography claimed that he was influenced by Muslim Arab Scholars too. and the article used reference Muslim Influences On Isaac Newton, but what is reference of this news? My Question, how much the news is Authentic?

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Isaac Newton. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. If you have some sort of concern, please bring it to Talk:Isaac Newton. The material you are adding to the article is not supported by the sources you are citing. Asking about other sourcing issues in the article is wholly irrelevant to the fact that the material you wish to add is not properly sourced. Do not re-add the material without bringing it up for discussion on the article talk page. If there is some verifiable source which repeats the claims you are making, share it with us so that it can be properly considered for inclusion.Bill Price (nyb) 19:02, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:08, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop[edit]

I don't know what this sequence of edits was expected to achieve, but stop it now. If you want to spam low-quality photographs of yourself, get a blog. ‑ Iridescent 18:29, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
{adding} And you can knock off uploading copyright violations as well. Consider this a final warning. ‑ Iridescent 18:35, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

We do not want your selfies; this is an encyclopedia, not Facebook. And yes, this image was an absolutely blatant copyright violation; you patently did not take it yourself, as you claim. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia you will be blocked from editing. ‑ Iridescent 18:44, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

OK[edit]

OK but it's not fair policy for the articles Pictures you reverted had no relevant images but I Provided and most of my own works. The articles about the garments I uploaded Pictures but not about a person or the uploader. First try Use your sense and get clear conceptually. If you block just block and I understand that you someone block but it's not subject of warnings because Wikipedia has no right to power exercise. I hope you understand clearly. Even try to understand everything clearly, transparently & deeply.

For the third time, Wikipedia is not a blogging or social media site, and neither Wikipedia nor Commons want your selfies unless they have encyclopedic value. All the articles you're spamming have multiple high quality and educational images to illustrate their topics already; those pages that are unillustrated like Tank top are intentionally unillustrated because they're disambiguation pages, not articles. And no, Wikipedia has no right to power exercise is just not true; if you're disrupting our site then any editor has every right to inform you that you'll be blocked from editing Wikipedia if you continue to be disruptive. ‑ Iridescent 19:04, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you understood that I understood clearly. Now Again, consider your every angle dialogues & all relevant things you spokes, and finally my statement is same as I said in with Ok title. Wikipedia is voluntary work, they not pay to the contributors. Willingly most of users rich the encyclopedia and it's open to everyone can edit & include data. But if anything doesn't match with the Wikipedia criteria, just remove & block the system instead being aggressive to the volunteers. From where you studied or how the editor(s) select I don't know, but again finally Wikipedia need upgrade policy because time changed, Generation changed and Wikipedia has to adapt the behaviors of the edge. I think, whatever I discussed with you, totally unnecessary. I will happy, if you withdraw my email address from your list so that no spam email from Wikipedia may not come in my inbox. Thank for your cooperation. For the lowly reason when you produced threat it warning, we fear. Hatashe

Wikipedia's scope hasn't changed since its foundation; we didn't want images that didn't serve an encyclopedic purpose in 2001, and we don't want them now. I have no idea what you're talking about with regards to emails; I've never sent you an email in my life, and this thread is the only communication I've ever had with you. If you want to prevent Wikipedia editors and readers from using the Special:EmailUser/Hatashe function, just go here and un-check "Enable email from other users". ‑ Iridescent 19:33, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article SUN Bangladesh has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Of the cited sources, only the second, press coverage of the launch event, mentions SUN Bangladesh. It's one of 46 country-level affiliates of Scaling Up Nutrition, which in turn is one of the thousands of authorities, boards, centres, commissions, councils, departments, directorates, divisions, movements, programmes, etc. within the UN. With no independent coverage to speak of, this one is not notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
