i dont know what to do with my user page. what is appropriate to do with it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HaylieClark (talkcontribs)

You may want to check out WP:USER for some details or ideas. If you need ideas, I'd suggest just looking around other users' pages and noting what you like about them. Cheers! thadius856talk|airports|neutrality 06:41, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And another hint: please don't delete the previous contents of your talk page when posting a comment. Rather, please append new content to the bottom. I've reverted the deletion for now. Thanks! Sandstein 06:43, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why cant i delete it? Its my page.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by HaylieClark (talkcontribs)

Well, you can do what you want (within reason, see WP:USER) to your user page, but your talk page is a means for others to communicate with you. That's why it's not considered good practice to delete the previous discussions - others would not know what's been said before without looking at the page history. It's not forbidden, so you may do it if you want to, but it's generally frowned upon. Sandstein 08:28, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the page WP:USER. It will tell you what is acceptable to do with your user page. Please also sign your posts by typing four tildes at the end (~~~~). Sandstein 18:41, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
