Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:35, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hill climbing pseudocode[edit]

A question came up on stats.SE about a citation for the continuous space hill climing algorithm on this entry. I tracked the edit down to you; I know it was some time ago, but if you have a citation, could you either pop over to stats.SE or post it here so I can direct the questioner to it?

Ways to improve PMML.1[edit]

Hi, I'm Mz7. Headlessplatter, thanks for creating PMML.1!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Overall, the article is a good start. It can be improved by adding more references to reliable sources, such as newspapers and academic journals.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Mz7 (talk) 18:28, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Bumpkey2.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! The file File:One decision tree.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned file with no clear usability on project

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
