WikiProject Anime and manga/Dragon Ball Argument[edit]

This guy by the name of A Link to the Past is trying to change the Artificial Human articles to Android. I'm strongly against this, and he isn't going to quit. So can you give me a helping hand. Please and thank you. Ryu-chan

BT2[edit]

Johnny542 13:38, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Thanks for the useful information, it helped. I guess I was just spinning the analog sticks in opposite directions. I guess that is why I was always losing. Anyway thanks man. Johnny542 17:13, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What you said in my talk page, I was talking about Vegeta. I swear to God I thought I saw him as a Ascended Super Saiyan, but a couple of guys kept on puting down that he was a just a Super Saiyan. After geting into many fights with these people, I finally gived up and said I was sorry. When Vegeta fought Broly, he appeared to have been a Ascended Super Saiyan since his muscules seemed to bulk up and his hair was more defined. I am not sure about this since there isn't any offical proof of this but like I said, I wish there was proof. If you have any comments on this, post it on my talk page. Oh yeah, I checked the talk page to Broly: Second Coming and you are right, Gohan was just a Super Saiyan when he fought Broly. It is what you and a couple of games said. Johnny542 13:39, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Issues[edit]

Just so you know, this might be one of the best DBZ games I have ever played, if not the best, but I have some issues with these three things. I just want to tell you in why didn't they put these three things.

1. For some reason, the creators of this game didn't put in Hirudegarn's first form, instead they treated his second form as if it was his only form. That pisses me off.

2. Also why didn't they put in Trunks Ascended Super Saiyan form into his second form? Instead they used his Ultra Super Saiyan form and incorrectly called it "Super Trunks". While Super Trunks should be his Ascended Super Saiyan form, not his Ultra Super Saiyan form. For me, that is just not right.

3. Last and not least, why didn't they put the rest of the DBZ movies in like Bio Broly, World Strongest and Dead Zone. They would have been good for the game but for some reason they didn't put them in.

I really hope the creators will fix this problem with the sequel BT3, if there is one. Johnny542 13:42, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually Heat, he did fight in his ASSJ form. It was against the one of the Cell Juniors at the Cell Games. And I agree with you, The World Strongest was a bad movie. Though I still would have liked to fight with Bio-Broly (just to make it interesting), Hirudegarn's first form and Trunks Ascended Super Saiyan form. Also didn't you get and read the reply about Ascended Super Saiyan Vegeta? Johnny542 13:38, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jrapidfire[edit]

I agree 100% about him getting banned, actually I disscused that on DesireCampbell's talk page a few days ago and we agreed that he should either stop or get banned, since then he has been worst he is due for at least a temporal ban, I'm pretty sure that other users would agree with us --Dark Dragon Flame 21:39, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He just gave us the reason to get him banned, see Talk:Broly: Second Coming --Dark Dragon Flame 22:13, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just added a summary of what he has been doing to the Administrator's incident report list if you think something else is neede in what I wrote please add it, I'll add his IP adress there too, sorry it took that long to reply I was eating my dinner --Dark Dragon Flame 22:56, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the page to a non vandalised version (just in case something was missing) that was on the history of the article, let's keep a close eye to the artcle he might keep doing it --Dark Dragon Flame 23:00, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions[edit]

Yeah that's okay, we all make mistakes at times. Anyway, I got a couple of questions for you. I think you were right about the Trunks part in the movie: Broly: A Legendary Super Saiyan, I think both he and Vegeta could have been a Ascended Super Saiyan when they fought Broly. Both did have a increse in muscule and height mass. Anyway do you think there be a BT3 in around 2007, that would be cool if there is. Johnny542 13:36, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jrapidfire has been blocked for 24 hours after I filed a report here. See his LOG -- bulletproof 3:16 19:53, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chimera[edit]

Do you have any idea what in the hell the Chimera from Resistance: Fall of Man are? People say they are aliens while other people say they could be mutants or even a new sentient species. The website doesn't say much so I am guessing they could be aliens or something like that. If you know any source that is true about this, discuss this at my talk page. Johnny542 13:47, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Captain Ginyu Problem[edit]

You know in DBZ:BT2 that when you play as Captain Ginyu and when you use his Ultimate Attack, how come you can't use any Blast Attacks and Ultimate Attacks when you transform into the opposite character? I think it might be a glitch or something I missed because one time when I used Body Change on Goku, I really didn't swap bodies, just copied his own body. I am not sure what is going on but maybe you can help me. Johnny542 13:36, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Energy Absorbing Androids and Teleport[edit]

In BT2, I want to wonder how do you absorb energy when its being shot at you when you are Androids 19, 20 and Super 17. It want to learn how to do it automatical and not just random. Also I want to learn how to teleport instantly when I want to from a incoming attack like a Blast Attack. I can only do this when I am attacking and then I press the Circle button to teleport away and when I am in Max Power mode when it is much easier to do. Maybe you know how to do these? Johnny542 13:47, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah thats okay.Johnny542 13:35, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

Hey about my comment about the article above this one, didn't you read or get it? Oh wait, I think maybe because you were tired of me asking questions about my game. Oh sorry. I guess I can find the info I need somewhere else. Dragonball Wiki[edit]

 • Hi there. I noticed you're a member of Wikiproject Dragonball, and I'm trying to recruit some people from that to contribute to the Dragon Ball Wiki. It's in terrible shape right now with pretty much no consistency or policies, and only this week have I been able to get Angela and Sannse to create some Forums for us over there. I've got a proposed Manual of Style going over there and would like some people to contribute to that to set up some policies and start making the wiki bigger, better, and more intelligible/consistent. If you're interested, please hop on over or talk to me. Thanks for the time, whether you're interested or not. Wildyoda 02:27, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great News[edit]

Hey whatsup, guess what, I finally figured out how to absorb energy with one of the energy-absorbing androids, all I have to do is press circle and hold the left directional button (I think) when a energy attack is about to hit. Now all I need to do is learn how to dodge any time I want. Johnny542 13:37, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Godzilla the Series Episodes[edit]

Hey man, do you know if there is going to be any more episodes of Godzilla the Series coming up? I hope they release them since this show is one of my favorites and I would like to see more episodes. Johnny542 18:24, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah my bad, I meant to say DVD collection, not episodes. Johnny542 13:30, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Guess what, did you know that all the Godzilla the Series episodes are being released on You Tube. I'm so excited and I want to see them all. Write back to me if you know about this too. Johnny542 20:09, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think there is only a couple of episodes they don't have, I don't know, check back if you know about this too. Johnny542 13:34, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man[edit]

Guess what, I heard there was a sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man called Resistance 2. I bet it is going to be cool like the first game. I found this when I was in Wikipedia and it said this in the Resistance: Fall of Man article.Johnny542 13:37, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of androids[edit]

I think they're okay where they are now. Some of them are actually cyborgs (#17, #18, etc.,) but since they reside on Earth, they should be put there as earthlings. Also, because there are too many lists, this is how they should be reduced. But I think, however, "List of Earthlings in Dragon Ball" should be moved to "List of earthlings in Dragon Ball". What do you think? Power level (Dragon Ball) 19:27, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yo, I am going to be out for this weekend and I was wondering if you could take my place in the improvement of Devil May Cry 3 (mostly enclopedic tone and fancruft although it really needs references), Lankybugger will also be working with the plot so you can ask him how that is going. Gohan's Age[edit]

I saw the messege that you posted on my talk page and I just decided to post my answer here. And Yes, I just realized something, I think in the Manga only 6 years passed between the Cell Saga and Buu saga. The reason why I think this is because If I recall correctly, Goten was 6 in the manga, not 7. That would explain a lot. The reason why people think it's 7 is because of time spent in the Room of Spirit and time. And I don't think that they celebrated Gohan's B-day before the Cell games, I think that was just a filler ep. This makes Gohan 10 when he fights Cell, not 11 like in the Anime. So I agree, he was 16 when he fought Buu. Good observation! --Majinvegeta 20:25, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good Job on the Vegeta article[edit]

Neko Majin[edit]

I noticed that you recently contributed to the Neko Majin article and I was wondering if you could assist me in something. I wanted to create a main page for the central protagonist, as I have done for Paifu (from Cowa!) and Belzebub (of Sand Land) — except I have one big problem: what is his official character name? I was about to start it with the title being "Cat Genie Z", due to the English translation. Then I thought "Cat Djinn Z" perhaps? Later, I recaped and believed "Nekomajin Z" would be the perfect title, regardless of this being the English Wikipedia (then again, Djinn Boo's article is titled Majin Buu). I'm in limbo here. A google search didn't aid me, albeit, is there an official/urban website where they have the character's official name? Or would you happen to know it by chance? I trust whatever decent name you can to me now. My regards, ~I'm anonymous

I believe I understand. However, I'm still in the midst on how to spell the article title. Neko Majin is taken and "Cat Genie" (or "Cat Djinn") both appear accurate. This is sort of the quid pro quo that adds to my perplexity. Point being, how should it be officially spelled for the page name and other things? ~I'm anonymous
Heat, are you around? I'm still unsure on how I should spell the page name. Any idea(s)? ~I'm anonymous
I've been so busy with creating new categories that I had forgotten about this subject for a while. See, when I was observing the InuYasha pages, I particularly noticed that the title character's article was named InuYasha (character). I then noticed, in my mind, that Neko Majin (character) would be fit for the article name. I remember that in the manga there was mention of more than 20 Neko Majin (or so I recall) that have been spotted. This character profile will include all of them, regardless if the character in Neko Majin was different from Neko Majin Z (or were they the same character?) If you want Heat, you can begin the article by clicking here. I'll work on it as soon as I'm done making the proper other categories for both anime and manga characters. Give me a buzz whenever you can. Peace — ~I'm anonymous
Uproar? That didn't happen when I began Paifu's article, nor Beelzebub's. What makes you think so? He may be in the same universe as Dragon World, but what does WP:DBZ have to do with this? ~I'm anonymous
If there are people like Nemu around, then it sounds pretty scary to start it. To tell you the truth, honestly: I'm more worried about categories now than I am of main articles. Maybe I'll have it taken care of some other time. Peace. ~I'm anonymous
I'm sure he wants what's best for the English Wikipedia. Doesn't he? ~I'm anonymous
I'll talk to User:Nemu whenever I can. I still got a lot of work to do first. Thanks for the heads up. ~I'm anonymous

The Daizenshū sources[edit]

Maybe you should comment over here. Some feel they should be cited, others feel uneasy. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 21:20, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heat, I wanna comment on this for you here (cuz I'm not going near the Wikiproject any time soon). From the rules- Because this is the English Wikipedia, for the convenience of our readers, English-language sources should be used in preference to foreign-language sources, assuming the availability of an English-language source of equal quality, so that readers can easily verify that the source material has been used correctly.

Also

Therefore, when the original material is in a language other than English:

 • Where sources are directly quoted, published translations are generally preferred over editors performing their own translations directly.
 • Where editors use their own English translation of a non-English source as a quote in an article, there should be clear citation of the foreign-language original, so that readers can check what the original source said and the accuracy of the translation.

Basically, as I can best interpret, if there is a better official English source for some things, then they need to be changed. But in the absence of such, a foreign product is OK. They are officially published materials, after all.

Here's an example- I just cited "Hirudegaan" and the origin of the name from the 6th Daizenshuu. This info is true, relevant (for out-of-universe perspective) and officially sourced... but it wont likely ever be mentioned in an english source. Actually I think it was brought up in a Daizex podcast, so in keeping with using english I'll try to find that, but I would add that to the Daizenshuu reference. A lot of stuff like character design notes and artwork come from the Daizenshuu, and if we officially decide to strike those books then we lose a chunk of material that likely isn't going to be brought over by Viz. And with all the people up in arms about out of universe pespectives, real world info, and sourced material, this will just lead to more unsourced (and thus deleted) content that would otherwise belong in the articles. That's my two cents anyway. Onikage725 (talk) 11:42, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
