Your opinion[edit]

You may have missed that Arbcom's own comment on OrangeMarlin was:

It was always an unlikely explanation that FT2, who is known for his careful and thorough work on and for Wikipedia, had wittingly gone outside and deliberately flouted our standard procedures...
Inferences that have been made, adverse to FT2's reputation for care, are simply not well founded.

It's also possible you missed a full disclosure how the matters came about, with exact data to check, and explaining exactly why I did not disclose publicly before. I think the community values privacy policy and will respect those who keep it when under pressure.

I accept that it probably won't change your feelings. FT2 (Talk | email) 22:38, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

FT2, I regret that I only just noticed this comment. I wasn't leaving it unanswered just to ignore you. Anyway, this is pretty much all irrelevant now that the election is over. I just wanted to acknowledge that yes, I realize that it was not any deliberate step outside of AC procedures that happened re: OrangeMarlin. Otherwise, there's really not much to say now that it's over. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 08:57, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Voting[edit]

Even though it's past tense, I'd still be interested in knowing how you voted? I love reading people's opinions on the various candidates. --Elonka 23:42, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your interest. I'm kind of thinking this year I'm going to keep it to myself. (Actually, in a couple cases, I've managed to forget already.) I will reveal this: I supported all the people I said I would early on and adhered to my principle of defaulting to oppose. Also, my total number of supports was less than the number of expected seats to be filled. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 08:59, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Understood, thanks! --Elonka 14:40, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
