Re Your Request:[edit]

Variable Frequency Drive Image Permssion Hi, I work for a non-profit called Rocky Mountain Institute (www.rmi.org) on our Factor Ten Engineering (10xe.org) project. We do energy efficiency and renewable energy research and consulting. I'm interested in reproducing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:VFD_System.png in a document I'm working on. It's a 25 page case study on an international electronics manufacturer. The case study will be part of a larger number of case studies we're using to help teach students and practicing engineers about energy efficiency and system design. It probably won't be published in text until next summer, but we're planning on distributing a handful of copies to academics and industry engineers as part of our project in the near future. I'm happy to send the document for your review if you'd like to see it. I see that the image is licensed under Creative Commons but I don't know how you would like it referenced in my document. Please let me know when you get a chance.

Thanks!

I believe that you are required only to abide by the provision of the GNU Free Documentation License per the information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:VFD_System.png. Thank you for asking if I have any additional preferences. I have nothing to add. You may be interested in looking at the original document for whih I created the image. It is in a Powerpoint PDF: http://www.vfdriveinfo.com/VFD-Training/07-AFDrives.pdf
