License tagging for File:Greer Spring branch churns at 401 cfs.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Greer Spring branch churns at 401 cfs.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:07, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Block evasion[edit]

Hello, RHaworth. I was inquiring about the reason I was flagged for block evasion? I didn't know I was being blocked in the first place. That begs the question, why was I blocked in the first place? I haven't posted anything offensive, opinionated, or in any violation of copyrights. I did have an outdated e-mail that I fixed this morning. I look forward to reading why this has been done. — Hillbilly2008 (talk · contribs) via e-mail

  • I am very puzzled. You have never been blocked. Indeed you have done no edits since 2011 July. And why did you choose to contact me? Where are you seeing this message about block evasion? One possibility is that you are using an IP address that has been blocked. E-mail me your IP address and I will check. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:57, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help. I determined I needed to reply via e-mail again since I cannot edit anything. I see the block message "editing from 72.161.0.0/19 has been disabled by RHaworth" everywhere I click edit, even on my user talk page. Here is a copy and paste of the highlights of my block message. As you can see from the following paste, Wiki directs my first actions to contact the person who created it. It says the block is to expire on the 24 of this month. I am not concerned with being able to edit anything between now and then. I just want to find out if I needed to correct any errant practices. Also I wanted to make sure the block would expire of if it would renew again. Thanks again for your assistance. — Hillbilly2008 (talk · contribs) via e-mail

  • There - give me proper details and I can give you a precise answer instantly. I can assure you categorically that the block is nothing to do with you. The guilty party is a young man calling himself Walter. A glance at user talk:Walter55000 and user talk:Walter55024 should give you an idea of the problem. He simply refuses to go away. Worse he seems to relish telling us that he is back. Only yesterday he left me these messages. My response was to block 64000 IP addresses of the ISP that you and Walter share. Yes, I can well envisage having to renew the block for quite some time but I have changed the settings on both blocks so that logged in users can edit so the problem should go away for you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:31, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
