Please add refs to your edits[edit]

Hi @Hinata Ryunosuke: I see you are adding short descriptions to a number of species stubs. Could you please add the source of these descriptions? At the moment all are unreferenced and should thus technically be removed. I'm assuming that you are using the same source for all of these, so I hope it won't be much of a problem to prepare a well-formatted reference once and add it to these sentences. Cheers! - Elmidae (talk) 07:41, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Hinata Ryunosuke: You seem not to have taken the above request on board. Please note that it is a requirement to cite sources for all content you add to an article. I have reverted your latest unsourced additions. Come on, you clearly have a source for these, would you please state it? -- Elmidae (talk) 08:50, 14 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OY @Hinata Ryunosuke: - do you read your talk page at all? Further reverts because you don't provide your source! Please do get with the program.-- Elmidae (talk) 12:00, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bird of prey stubs[edit]

Hello, @Hinata Ryunosuke:. I recently created a new stub template for Accipitriformes so that we can match the taxon in the stub box to the order in the taxobox. I hope you will find it useful.

The split of Accipitriformes from Falconiformes is fairly well accepted now, and Falconiformes is just a redirect to Falconidae. You can compare Category:Falconiformes stubs versus Category: Accipitriformes stubs.

A tag has been placed on Hartert's fig parrot requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Here you will see a plea from Elmidae that you should communicate. I have blocked you. But a) you are still able to edit this page and b) I propose that you should be unblocked as soon as you reply to Elmidae's messages above and confirm that you will not create any more articles which are completely devoid of sources.
